I have been using the chi now for about 4 months and i dont have any complaints. my friend started me on it and now i have one of my own, im mixed so i have really curly and frizzy hair, i paid at expensive salons for top of the line treatments and the best hair dressers and my hair looked great until i walked outside, but when i tried the chi it was a miracle!!! not even with a little rain did my hair go frizzy on me, it stays straight for a week or until i wash it. To me the chi is the best out there and i recommended it to everyone!

I have had my Chi iron for 2 years now. Got it from a real hair care store. Absolutely NO problems!! Is the greatest investment I have made and I just love it to death!! Can't get enough of how great it works and I am black with pretty curly hair. My friends love it too! How great is that=)

I bought the CHI back in 2002 and have had no problems at all. Still gets HOT really fast and the Temp seems to be the same now as when I first bought it! Best $100 I ever spent!! I love the CHI! Im sorry to hear it has failed for others. : (
Buy a Sedu instead!!

CHI is great when it works, but after 6 months to a year it will gradually quit. I hate this thing. I went through 2 in 2 years and will never buy another. I just bought the Sedu after reading great reviews. It works exactly like my CHI did on good days, and from what others have said, will keep working for many more years.

I have had my CHI for 2 years now and i have curly/ wavy hair. I have owned previous straightners yet they break within less of a year. So after i bought the CHI i have been waiting for it to break like the previous yet it still works like the day i got it. I staighten my hair every day before i go to school and also on the weekend and it still leaves my hair silky and strait. Another thing i would like to brag about is that living in Southeast Texas it is extremly humid, yet my hair doesnt curl with the use of this straightner after i step outside. Overall i believe this is the best straitghtner available.

WOW...Is the first word that comes to mind. I must say that this is a Wonderful Tool! Don't get me wrong I was very skeptical to dish out the $ 112 Bucks but let me tell you, it is the best $$$$$ I have yet to spend. I used to always want to have Jennifer Anison's Beautiful Straight hair but was born with that wavy fluffy hair that gets frizzy with any hint of bad weather and at the beach...just forget about it. But now...BAD weather who cares, my hair never frizzes and it looks Beautiful. BAD HAIR DAYS ARE GONE FOREVER! Just make sure to use some kind of heat protector on your hair before you blow dry. I have a natural wave to my hair and plus I have layers too and I used a couple different straightening irons and got so fed up that I didnt care about paying $112.00 dollars for the Folica Iron. Let me tell you...this iron is the best invention ever! After i straighten my hair, it feels smooth and silky and healthy and it looks like i just got a haircut! It makes my hair look freshly cut. I have been meaning to write you guys a letter about this iron because im love it so much. It makes my mornings so much easier! I can't get over how much i love this iron and how it makes my hair look. I get compliments all the time. Thank you! Its well worth the money!!

I have naturally curly hair that is a pain in the butt to straighten. I have tried about 3 different irons, and they all left my hair frizzy and puffy. A friend of my sister's works at a salon and I went to a hair show with her and they used the CHI on my hair. WOW! I had no frizz whatsoever and no puff!

i am a 14 year old high school student with thick wavy hair. my hair stylist and 3 of my friends all own this iron and i must say its wonderful! it takes me about 10 minutes to totally gorgeous straight, sleek, smooth and frizz-free hair! i have hair a little past my shoulder and this iron is a miracle!! i dont even have to straighten it everyday! its a great product and all my friends have had theirs for more than 2 years and it still works like a charm!

the chi flat iron is amazing.unfortunately i broke it when i used it in switzerland,so i'm really unhappy that î have to use another flat iron.the chi should be available also in europe!!!does anybody know a similar made like the chi but which is gonna work in my counrty???

I purchased the Chi iron for my daughter at an incredible price I might add. It was shipped immediately and arrived sooner than I expected. My daughter says it's the best iron ever made so she was more than pleased which in turn made me VERY happy!!! Ive struggled with craptastic, wavy, frizzy hair my entire life, and now I finally have the hair that i have envied on others. After reading all the mixed reviews, I bought it anyway, and I plan on taking very good care of it, ie; not wrapping the cord around it, not leaving it on for hours, not banging it against the counter, and hoping for the best. Now I just hope i dont blow it up when i use it in New Zealand. Ill be keeping a copy of my warrante.

I am a hairstylist and i thought that this iron was the best that i have ever had!!!! I tell everyone to buy it, because it is great on any type of hair. I did buy one for my mom and sister for christmas. The only thing is that it doesn't have a control for how hot the iron gets so i suggested that they use a comb when using this iron. I know it is kinda expensive but it is the best and there are other flat irons out there that are more but why pay more if this one is the best!!!!!! I am very happy with this product!!

I have a conair gold cermaic straightner and it works very well, but it takes very long and dries out my hair. My mom's friend paied 150.00 for this straightener and straightens her hair every morning in like 15 mins. My hair was already straightened last night when she did it with the CHI and it came out more straightened, hair silky smooth and thin. I am going to buy one with my Christmas money because it definitely is worth the money. My hair looks better straightened and it will cut the time of me straightening my hair in 1.2. I am very pleased with this product and will most likely buy it ! And for those who broke if they are in a couple months, use the warranty and it's called being careful with a delicate thing. So you guys need to chill out about it and don't coil the wire around the straightener.

The Chi I ordered was delivered very quickly and in perfect condition. I bought this as a gift for my daughter for Christmas. This is the 2nd Chi I have bought here. I gave one to my other daughter last year for Christmas, and they both love it and use it all the time. It still works perfectly.

omg my chi works sooooooooo well i have the most frizzy and curly/wavy thick hair ever and this is the only straightener that works for me it straightens my har in like not even 10 minutes i would recommend it to ANYONE!!!!!!!!! everone says that it dryes out ur hair it does not and i have very fragile hair it is the best!!!!!!

I purchased my CHI flat iron recently and have used
it about a dozen times. It heats up very quickly
and does leave your hair shiny and smooth.
I decided to purchase the CHI since this was the flat iron
recommended to me by my hair stylist as one of the best.
I've read prior reviews the cord can short or whatnot so
I have been very careful with the cord both while in use
and afterwards.
DONT BY THIS PRODUCT!!!

I had my chi for about 2 months and it got a short in it and stoped working. For the $$$$ it cost.Dont by it go find something else thats not so expensive and you wont fill so disapointed if it breaks.
