Great Flat Iron and Very Easy to Use!

This flat iron has been WONDERFUL. I bought it for my 11 year old daughter and she has no problem using it.
Her hair looks gorgeous and shiny.
This flat iron was recommended to us by a styling professional.

I have been straightening my hair for years, and my friend had this product and I saw how great it worked. I absolutely love it, my hair has never looked better! The chi makes my hair flat, straight, and shiny....beautiful! thanks so much!

This was the best site I ordered from in a long time. My iron was delivered within a few days. The iron is great. I have thin hair so the iron works awesome.
The mat is also great. I use it to travel.

I must say at first I am a skeptical person in general.I have a sally beauty supply flat iron for years and cannot complain about it cheap but good. However lately i have been hearing about these expensive flat irons and how they work magic. After considerable amount of research ( and I really did do my research reading reviews about all of them) I went for the CHI iron. I figured that since folica guaranteed the product 30 days I might as well try it and compare it. Ladies it indeed works miracles. My hair is soo soft that feels like I just came from the hair salon and it took me less than 10 minutes.
I am aware about the iron not lasting long, but i figured that even if I get one year out of it I am satisfied because if I were to straighten it at the salon just 5 times a year it will cost the same, but having this i do not need to go and get it done ever!!!I reccomend it, and folica sent it fast and with two free gifts plus free shipping, Folica is great.

I have been straightening my hair for over 10 years now and this is the BEST straignening device I have ever used. I have VERY curly & wavy hair and I have never been able to find anything that gets the "kinks" out of certain problem areas but this does. It glides though my hair very easily and actually has somewhat shortened my morning routine. I have used other flat irons before and this is the only one that "glides" easily though without taking hair with it :)

ok, so before i bought the chi i had curly (ringlett) hair wich i fried by using a crap little conair thing. anyways, ive had my chi for about 3 months now and i would die without it, i bring it everywhere! i would totaly recomend this flat iron. ps. get a warenty, just in case.

i've havee this straightener for almost a yearr or more noww and i have to sayy i amm in love withh it<3 the only problemm is sometimes the red light doesn't come onn but i make it workk haha. andd im deffinetly buying another oneee cause i love it that much. all of my friends come over and love it so i'll probably stickk with it. the only problem is my hair gets curly really easy when its humid out and i haven't found a product to stop that but i'm going to try biosilk therapy and see how that goes. ;] but i recommend this straigtener to anyone since welll i love it and my hair is always pin straight<33

So i've read some of the bad reviews, and I feel some people are being a little dramatic. In middle school i owned cheaper irons, and basically i think you get what you pay for. Eventually i graduated to the CHI. I have had it for years and am still satisfied. The only reason i want another one is because now it's available in cute colors :).If you have naturally straight hair obviously you shouldn't spend $130 on an iron. But if you're an african american woman, or just have naturally course hair like myself the CHI is an excellent choice. It gets my hair silky smooth. But i am not a hairstylist...if you want salon results go to a salon.

I've had my CHI for almost 2 years, yeah it takes longer to heat up but it still works great. I've also dropped it 1000 times and it has never broke. This never damages my bleached blonde hair, and it looks awesome when its straight. I'm not sure if some of these other reveiws have the same iron as me because mine works great still after 2 years!

so im biracial and my hair is really curly (like little tight curls that are sort of a nightmare when my hair is dry)and where i live it is really humid during the summer so it gets even worse. i got this flat iron for christmas in 2004 but the day after christmas in 2005 (one year and a day) it stoped working. like another reveiwer said it would only stay on when the cord was in a certain position. so my "brilliant" idea was to super glue the base of the cord so that it would stay on. well it still broke. so if you do get this flat iron dont be rough with it. i've been using my fiends flat iron and it works great but it's not the same as the chi when i first got it. im considering getting a solia. i've learned not to wrap the cord around the flat iron. wrapping the cord around the flat iron might make packing easier when going on a trip. but in the long shot it is not worth breaking a really good flat iron and having to replace it wit another one. the chi might look tough but it is very delacate, so be careful.

The Chi iron is the best! I have straight hair but the iron makes my hair look as though I get it done by a salon daily.

ive tried alot of flat irons, and i must say Chi is the best i ever used! i have really curly, thick corse, frizy hair, and the chi makes it sooo smooth, soft and straight. all my friends call it the "miracle straightner"
i didnt pay for my flat iron (i won it at work)but i would definatly pay whatever money for it. when straigtening my hair, all i do is blow dry it quickly into a puff, then flatiron it, and it goes perfect!!!

I used to have Hot Tools but that iron didnt get my frizz out. The CHI is great and really makes your hair smooth and light.I got a special pack that included a CHI iron (blue) and 2 other products which were - SILK INFUSION and this spray that protects your hair from gettin damaged. It was a great pack just for $105.00. I also love the iron because right after i wash my hair i would always have to blowdry it out straight. Now with the CHI i dont even have to blowdry it. I can just airdry it and then striaghten it with CHI.
Its a great iron and if you tried everything from Conair to Hot Tools then you def need CHI!!!!

I have had 3 chi's in the past couple of years. My first one broke, then we got it replaced and then i decided to get a chi turbo which is now breaking from a shortage and only works if i hold it right.And i dont have one to replace it cuz i didnt have a warrant and the one that replaced the first one i sold. i do not recommend these.. they may heat up well but they break easily

Ive had my CHI straightener for under a year, and now it only heats up if i hold it in a certain position! it sucks, because mine was really expensive. the light flickers on and off, and my hair looks crappy now!

I recieved this chi as a gift for X-mas last year, and it still amazes me! I have slighty frizzy wavy creased hair, and this iron makes it straight and silky. I would recommend this iron to anyone!

two weeks ago i had my hair coloured and cut, and my stylist straightend my hair. it looked amazing, though even she commented on how hard it was to straighten! after i washed it, i tried to straighten my hair with my old conair straightener.. wat a mess! it was big, frizzy and dead. i had heard great things about the Chi, so i went and bought it.. it is the best thing ive ever used on my hair. my hair is super curly, but not that thick, and it makes my hair smooth, almost frizz-less and soft.
