i hjave rough damaged hair this iron makes my hair silky smooth i dont even have to sraighten my hair before using this iron its turns from curly to thin straight i lov eit my firend use this iron on me i ma buy it

So far this product has been working for me. I already dropped it twice and still works..hahaha So I recommend this product. It just takes a while co'z I have to blow dry my hair every morning, then use the chi. I know they already came out w/wet and dry chi, but I'm sticking with this one to make my money worth :)...

If anyone is curious about how long do chi iron's last We'll, I have had my iron for 2 years. I used it 1-2 times a month. I mainly relied on my hair dryer to straighten my hair. My iron has probably been used 50 times. Now it takes me hours to get my hair smooth. So in the end i don't think it's worth buying. I ordered a SEDU. If money is not an issue then buy this iron. Then replace it every year or 6 months.

My hair dresser used the Chi Iron, so I thought when I purchased it, I thought it would make my hair look shiny, etc. But it has dried out my hair and I use the same hair products as my hair dressers, I just don't see the same results. It's a good price for a high end purchase however next time I think I will go with a different one. The best part about ordering from Folica is free shipping; you can’t beat that!

i really do love my chi straightner..i've had many straightners,and most of them just stop working or break..i had my chi for a while and it still works fine!..i love my straightner..i'm sticking with my chi!

I bought the Chi because everyone raves about it. It's okay.. I have medium course hair that is mostly straight but frizzy, and the Chi burns my hair.. also the plates did not close perfectly, there is a bit a gap at one end of the plates. I have to press harder to close the plates all the way together. Of course, by pressing harder it damages my hair more. Honestly, i wish i had returned it.

Please do not buy this product. After paying 100 $ for this product, it broke apart after 3 months of use. Poorly designed. I have to say that it did straighten my hair when it worked..but only for 3 months. I would not recommend this to anyone

I love my Chi iron. I wish I would have bought this item a long time ago. I love the way it makes my hair straight...I don't have to use a relaxer on my hair anymore to get my hair straight. I just use my Chi iron. I recommend this product to anyone!

I have very fine hair so the steamy and smoky smell that came out of this thing when I first fired it up really worried me. But, it's been great. Keeps my hair perfectly smooth and I love how the heating panel pivots so you can round off areas of your hair into a slight curl.

I did have a Wigo flat iron and this one is much better. It gets hotter and you don't have to run it thru more than once...maybe twice. I have wavy hair and it works good on my texture of hair. It's worth the money.

CHIs are great, especially at their great price for the great quality. It doesn't matter if you have permed, curly, or colored hair, the ceramic plates are the best thing to protect and straighten your hair! And a note to that comment below: if you bleach your hair, then your hair is DAMAGED! I would recommend using a product while flat ironing (the Chi silk infusion or 44 iron guard). YAY CHI!!!

My iron does not always turn on. I am aware of the reset buttons on both the iron and my home outlets; am aware of making sure the light switch is turned to on. I also let it sit to give it time to heat, with the switch turned on, upon my return, I sometimes find it ice cold. Eventually, I can get it to turn on after much fuss, but have, on occassion been forced to leave the house with out fixing my hair.

I really wanted a flat iron that made my hair really straight. My hair is about 2 inches below my shoulders and isn't very thick. It is also wavy and really annoys me because it isn't curly it is just ugly flipped out hair. This CHI iron made my hair straight really fast. Every morning before school i straighten my hair and the CHI is perfect. It heats up fast and gets the job done quick so I'm never late. I LOVE IT!!!!
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the CHI

I used to think the department store flat irons were doing a good job on my hair, but it didn't help me to accomplish the polished style like my hairdresser was able to do. I decided to invest in the CHI even though I thought it was too much to spend on a flat iron. I have had my CHI for a about two months and since I made the change, I've had many compliments on my hair and they are curious to know what I was doing differently! I love my CHI and am very satisfied with it. My only concern with the product is that at times it doesn't turn on right away, and I have to jiggle around with the swivel cord. This is a known concern that I read from other reviews and was hesitate with spending my money on a CHI. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the CHI.

I am glad I read the reviews and went with the original. I am not disapointed! I have fine thin hair and use my CHI nearly everyday. It has not damaged my hair at all. Great product!!!

I fell in love.....until today...
This product cinched my hair and the metal blades fell off. I have not had this Chi iron that long. It is kind of sad when you spend that much money something!
