The Chi flat iron is the best flat iron you could own. I bought one about 4 or 5 years ago (for $130!!!) and it still works amazingly. When my sister-in-law used it, she feel in love with it so I got her one for Christmas. And when her friend used it, she ended up buying one for herself. It heats up in about a minute so you don't have to wait forever and it gets so hot, you don't have to run it through your hair over and over again. You won't find a high quality flat iron at a cheaper price anywhere else, and you can't beat free shipping. I absolutely recommend this product and recommend purchasing it through Folica.

originally i purchased this item for a new rock & roll do which required high maintenance flat ironing of my always thick, wavy, frizzy over-processed hair. it did the trick and made me look mega glam. i got mad props all the time and then i switched to a faux-hawk a few weeks later, for which the chi is still very useful in styling! i love my chi, which was recommended to me by my hair stylist of 3 years, and he knows hair! especially mine! this tool comes in handy for every style and every hair type, i really recommend it even if you dont need it for a new haircut the way i did. just flattening your hair for a special night out can make you feel so glamourous, it's worth it!

I had a Chi iron previously and it stopped working because the cord got twisted and it wasn't a solid connection, and therefore would only work if it was held at a certain angle...My new one is already starting to twist, so not too sure how long it'll last, and am thinking twice about getting this model next time.
It does work really well right now, but not sure for how long!

I bought this flat iron for my little sister (12 yrs old) and she loves it. She had been complaining that her cheap one made her hair dry and doesn't have issues with this one. I was impressed with how quickly I got the product and that it was legitimate.
I prefer the SEDU slightly, but this is still good.

Well I ordered the CHI after being less than satisfied with the SEDU. I thought the CHI did a better job because I remembered how my hair looked when my stylist used it. But in fact, I'm going to go back and say the Sedu is better. The plates are smoother and the handle is easier to use. The CHI is ok, but I think that the SEDU is better in the end. My hair was just in bad condition when I bought the SEDU, and I was comparing it to the time when I had stronger hair when the stylist used the CHI. Comparing them now, back to back, I prefer to use my SEDU in the morning. Although the CHI is pretty good too. I don’t like how the plates are rough and pull on my hair.

I have owned a Chi iron for years, and have been very satisfied with it. Both my adult daughters wanted a Chi irons for Christmas. I tried Ebay and after bidding on 20+, and not getting a winning bid, I gave up. I regret that I wasted so much time and effort in that process.
I was thoroughly satisfied with the Folica experience. I was able to buy 2 Chi irons at a very reasonable price and received them quickly.

This is my second Chi... I only had to replace because I dropped in numerous times and it eventually chipped. Other than that, it worked perfectly... as does this one. It usually only takes one time through the hair to make it straight. Love it! Definitely purchase!

Great price on a stand-out product. While an older model without some of the newer bells and whistles, the no-nonsense approach here is really likeable. Sometimes the best products from last generation are better that the newer products stumbling into the next "generation" with new marketing gimics and technologies. This one is great at what it does at it's price point - I see it sould for well over a hundred in stores in my area.

This is by far one of the best sites to get a really great flat iron. i'm very happy with this straightner. I wish i would've gotten the bigger one, but this one really works well. i've tried other ones & with my hair being so thick they didnt work near as well.
