This is my favorite flat iron. I've used many different types, brands, etc, and I have found this to be tried & true. It straightens my hair, which is really kind of unruly. & it doesn't damage it as badly.

The Chi is a wonderful product. It makes my hair very straight and shiny. Straigtening my hair is a less daunting task because of this product.

I purchased the chi flat iron after using my sisters and when it arrived at my house it seemed fine. The next day
I plugged it into the wall just like my regular iron and
3 minutes later the iron fell apart. So I unplugged it and
plugged in my old faithful iron from Target...my sisters
chi iron works great...but mine just fell apart...wish mine
had not fallen apart...but I am not sure I want to try
chi irons after this happened...:(

I absolutely love this flat iron. I am a first timer user of one and I am so glad I spen the extra money and got a really good one. It is easy on the hair and doesn't fry it. The one inch is the perfect size as it allows you to get very close to your scalp! I recommend this to every one!
It Snags My Hair

My hair gets caught in between the ceramic plate and where it is attached to the iron's handle. My hair gets snagged with every pass. Very frustrating considering I did my research on this product and was convinced it was the best one. I paid $100 for this iron. I previously had a Helen of Troy iron (paid about $25) and I liked it a lot better, although it lasted only about 2 1/2 years.

The best purchase I've made! I've spent about the same about of money on Revlon straightners and they either break or pull my hair. I recommend this to all my friends.

I have been using flat irons for several years and have never used a product that works as well as this CHI. I have very thick, wavy hair and this iron makes my hair smooth and straight. Hair looks healthy and feels great. A++++++++ for this CHI.

I love my new Chi flat iron. It gets the job done much better than numerous other flat irons I have tried over the past few years. The only minimal complaint I have is that my LCD light burnt out fairly quickly after my purchase so now I sometimes forget it is still on and burn myself or overheat my counter so I have to remember to check it before I leave the room. All other performance of the flat iron has lived up to my expectations!

It is definitly a top quality flat iron. It heats up fast and makes your hair sleak and straight quickly. Only problem is if you are not careful it will break the ends... seems to make your hair dry out faster then other flat irons.... But that the risk you run with two metal plates!!!

one of the best straighteners that I have had. Be careful so you don't burn your self. Not only does it straighten my curly hair in half the time it takes other straighteners but it curls the ends and stays curled with out any hairspray! None better!

I was able to find a "Chi" hair straightener for my daughter for Christmas, ordered late, but received in time and for $40 less than other retail. It works great~ Folica and Chi provide great customer service! We are both extremely satisfied.

I honestly have to say that this is the best straightening iron I've used. I first tried Solia and it made my hair straight and soft, but within minutes it started to get a wave. The Chi works mades my hair super straight and it doesn't seem damaged so far. I definately recommend this iron to anyone. It's a little pricey, but you won't have to go to the salon to get the same look you can get at home. I've been using mine for over a month now and it takes me about 40min. to do my hair. It probably takes me that long because I do very small strands at a time to make sure it comes out super straight. I also found that it's best to let your hair dry naturally and then iron instead of blow dry and then iron. I think it comes out straighter without using the blow dryer first.
