I think it has worked really well for me so far. I wish I could have gotten a heating spray along with it, but I did like the fact that shipping was included in the price!

The iron works great but since I first opened it, the light blinks continuously once it's heated high enough. That's kinda annoying.
I didn't send it back because I can't go without a flatiron for over a week.

this product is crap, i have had my chi flat iron for less than two months and normally would use it everyday except that my flat iron will not turn on except for once every two weeks. ugh!!!! waste of money!!!

The flat iron only works some of the time. It takes many attempts to get it to turn on. There was something wrong with it from the beginning.

I've had 3 Chi irons now. They work like no other, i've treid other flat irons and it is defenitly the best. I did have the common problem of the power going from the swivel cord comming loose but that was only after 1-2 years of day after day straightening VERY curly/wavy hair. Its def worth the money, i'm about to buy my fourth one now.

ive had this straightener for hmm ahout a year and it keep shutting off. i bought a new one today but canceled the order after i saw all of the comments posted about it of people that had the same problem with it as i did. sooo i bought a sedu flat iron. i cant wait to get it. that straightener was deffff not worth the money and v+ the warrenty ppl didnt evn asnwer my calllls. niiiice. k wellll buy a sedduuuu ppls. ;)

I ordered the CHI flat iron for my daughter who is in college. Her roommate paid BIG BUCKS for her Chi and she swears if the room were on fire, she would save her Chi. So, I ordered a Chi for my daughter.. great price.. great flat iron. It is wonderful. I then ordered another Chi for my other daughter, and it is fabulous. I JUST ordered one for myself and I love it. My daughters have had theirs for about two years now, and they are heating and straightening like no ones business. This is a fabulous flat iron and you CANNOT beat the price for a Chi!! Folica.com is a great site to order from, the product came quick and I am not swamped by unwanted junk e-mails. Great job guys!!

This is the second Chi ceramic flat iron I have owned in 9 years. I loved the first one, but I admit that I did not take care of it as I should have. I used it daily, and then I would wrap the cord around the straightener (BIG no-no). The only problems I had with my first one was that my cord became damaged...after about 6 years of wrapping it up.
So, I am super happy with my second Chi. I have very curly hair that I admittedly don't take care of. When I straighten my hair, it comes out smooth and soft.
I have used other ceramic straighteners, but I like how fast and thorough the Chi is.

I bought my first CHI flat iron about 8 years ago. It lasted until a few months back which is when I purchased a new one from folica.com. They had the best price out there and free shipping. I had a great experience with folica.com. The product came in quickly and was in perfect condition. I would recommend both the product and folica.com. hands down.

What I like about this flat is that it is a very nice compact size which is easily held in one's hand.This makes for very easy use, even for the novice.It does what it is designed to do and that is to straighten and smooth the hair out effectively.Great job CHI !!!!!

This product does a very good job straightening my hair. I see some girls on here that claim to have "very curly & thick" hair, but their hair really isn't that bad. Mine is VERY thick and semi-tight curls. Anyways.. it does a GREAT job straightening!! It also lasts a while. About 2-3 days with minor touchups each day. & my hair feels very smooth... but it also looks a little dull and not shiny enough (in my opinion) even though I used products. When I sweat or just randomly it smells like burned hair and it's aggravating. I haven't used a straightner that doesn't do this to my hair but I'm just stating. I don't own a CHI but use my friends... I'm leaning more towards a Sedu though.

I just purchased my chi hair iron a month ago! Yes, I did say a month ago and it has already quit working. The light only stays on when I move the cord. I am returning the hair iron today...

When my Infrashine flat iron finally stopped working (after four years of heavy use!), I took a friend's advice and bought the Chi. It doesn't even compare. My hair is not overly curly, normal texture and is in pretty good shape, and this flat iron doesn't make my hair smooth at all. I'm going back to my Infrashine as soon as I can justify the double cost....

I've had mine for about 2.5 yrs and it's still working like I bought it yesterday. I read the other reviews, and most said they didn't like it an it damaged their hair, which may be true, but I've never had any problems like that with mine. I guess it all depends on your hair, and how well you take care of the product.

I had my CHI for almost 3 years and I'm having to replace it now...but it's my fault. I used it on a recent trip to Spain with a converter which the instructions and this website say explicitly NOT to do. So through my own stupidity I'm having to replace it. It is a wonderful investment and would recommend it to anyone who wants to get control of their crazy hair!

I still can't believe it! I just got my Chi yesterday, and I tried it today. It's totally amazing! I straighten my hair in like 2 seconds, haha. I loveeeeee it! Totally recomend it. Don't leave it on your hair to long or it will burn. Use protectant.

I bought by Chi 4 1/2 years ago, and its worked great ever since then. It just recently broke, when I dropped it on the concrete. But I guess thats not bad for 4 years of usage. I recently bought a hot tools flat iron from my hair stylst for $80 I thought was the same, but it made my hair fizzy at the bottom, and oily at the top. So I wasted that money when I could have bought a Chi for the same price about. Nothing compares to the Chi.

I've been through 3 chis in the past three years! I'm a big follower of Chi but 3 is too many. I bought my first one 3 years ago I ended up dropping it and the plate broke off. Then I bought the exact sameone but less than four months later the led light stopped working, and it would turn off constantly while using it. I argued to get that one replaced but five moths later the new one started doing the same thing. No more chis for me. I love them but its expensive and annoying to keep replacing them.
5 years & still going!
