Best Flat Iron Ever!!

I got this for christmas a year ago and it worked a lot better than my Hot Tools flat iron. All my friends want to use it when they are at my house and it takes me very little time to straighten my frizzy, thick hair. I recommend using a hair protecter spray on your hair before you use it because it damages your hair with the heat.
Worth the money

I absolutly love my CHI flat iron. I have spent a good amount of money, trying to buy cheaper versions before purchasing my CHI. It was worth every penny spent. It works like no other straightening iron, i recommend it to all.

I read a review, warning African American Women, not to use this product. A pretty broad statement, considering our diversity in hair care, today. The CHI Ceramic Flat Iron worked wonderfully on my hair type and I'm pleased with my purchase. More importantly, it allowed me to reduce my Salon visits down to once a month. Also, I found the CHI Ceramic Flat Iron to be extremely useful during those summertime emergencies (swimming, jogging, work outs). I recommend each hair type; try it for them self before not trying it at all. It puts the primitive curling iron to rest.
NOT FOR AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIR

I just purchased this flat iron and I want to warn all of my "sistas" NOT to buy this product. It only heats up to 350 degrees and it won't straighten your hair...even if you go over it a bunch of times! BLACK WOMEN, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
well worth it

I bought this for my wife after she didn't like the generic one at Sally's. She used it one time. The next time she tried the thing it wouldn't even come on. It's not worth the inflated price. You should expect professional grade for that price.

This little flat iron rocks! Heats up fast and gets smokin' hot. Lightweight and easy to use. Most important though, is the result--my long, thick, chemically-straightened hair is transformed in a few minutes to hair I never thought I'd have. It is shiny, flat, and youthful.
Great Flat Iron!

One, two, three and I'm done. Literally the best flat iron I have ever owned. I have long below bra strap hair and with this I am done in 5-10 mins without blow-drying my hair first. No frizz, no burnt hair smell. Just shiny and straight lovely locks. Very happy I finally upgraded to the CHI.
Throw other flat irons out!

I've lived with frizz most of my life and have tried other flat irons. At my hairdresser's suggestion I bought the CHI. I am happy to say, frizz is now a thing of the past for me. I also saw this product work on a friend's hair who lives in Atlanta (high humidity year-round) and it works brilliantly with her hair as well. Highly recommend to anyone for whom simply "blowing it straight with a round brush" is not enough!
An excellent investment. THE best!

I don't know how I ever managed without this! I already had a Chi 2" since I have very long, wavy thick hair. I use the 7/8" for bangs & the hair around my face. I can get close to my scalp with it.
It's worth every penny!
this is worth spending the money on

my teenage daughter has had three 'cheap' hot irons and always complained that they don't work well enough. a friend suggested the chi hair straightener but when i saw how much it was i'll be honest, i was a little skeptical about spending that much on something that i wasn't sure about. anyway i bought it for her for christmas and she loves it! no complaints, lots of smiles, in fact she does my hair for me too and it really is worth spending the extra money on.
Not sure...

When I first started using the CHI I loved it. Then, it started to not get as hot as used to, and finally the chord got all messed up and i have to put it in a certain position for it to work. It takes me forever to straighten my hair now because I have to wait for it to reheat, use it, put the chord back in the right position, etc. My boyfriend took it apart to see if he could fix it (he's great at building electronic things) and he thought it was made rather cheaply. He said the only good thing about it was the ceramic plates. After taking it all apart, we figured it was a malfuction in the chord. I've found out that many other people's CHI have done the same thing after a while. I think all the good review were from people who have only had it for a short time, because I thought all the same wonderful things too. I'm not saying all are crappy and will break because my sister has had the same one for about 5 years and it still works great.

This is the second Chi flat iron I have purchased from Folica. The first was for my daughter and I was so impressed that I bought another one for myself. The shipping was very fast! I ordered on a Tuesday evening and received from UPS on Thursday. Just two days!! Great business to purchase from.

This is exactly what i was looking for...this works great on shorter hair to achieve a spiky look. A key feature found on this flat iron is the temperature control…it allows people with fine hair to reduce the heat therefore reducing your risk of burning your hair. It heats up in a matter of seconds. I love it and would recommend it for anyone looking for this size.

I have a cheap flat iron which I used after I blowed dried my hair for extra smoothness. I bought the Chi Turbo yesterday and used it as soon as I washed my hair. I dried it but did not style it since I thought by having such a great flat iron there was no need for it. I had to take each section of hair at least 3 times for it to be straighten, and at the end, my hair looked flat, as if it were kinky and had been ironed. My hair is naturally wavy and curly. It had no shape and looked as flat as ever.
Don't get the mini chi

My assistant accidentally ordered the "mini CHI" for me. It did not work well at all. My old CHI broke (after 4 years) b/c I dropped it. The mini was so bad that I turned around and ordered a brand new (old model) CHI. The old model, black Chi is a life saver. I love it. There is nothing like it. I have naturally wavy hair and it straigtens it like a board. The mini had very small blades and did not work very well. I highly recommend the CHI but not the mini.

I have extreemly curly hair and everyone that I see thinks that my new straight hair is natural. My hair looks wonderful when I'm done straightening it. It only takes 10 minutes to straighten my unbelivable thick, curly hair, while with my old straightener it would take 45 minutes and it wouldn't stay straight. If you are looking for a straightener, buy this one!
