I've tried to look for replacement parts for CHI and haven't been able to locate any one. I think if the iron is still under one year warranty, you can send it in for repair or replacement. If not, then you will probably need to purchase a new iron |
is the light supposed to go out?
if the light goes out while im using it is that bad or is it just kind of cooling itself off? it turns back on, but if this is happening should i send for a replacement?

my light goes out on mine everytime i use it. IT starts to cool down, its not broken but it does have a short. The Chi tends to have this problem. It is very frustrating |
Repair
Is there a place to take my Flat for repair. My Reset/Test plug will not stay set. Can this plug be replaced?Please advise.Thank you.

I got the same problem. I showed it to my hair stylist, she told me it could not be repaired, and advise me to get a new one from her for $150! Thanks to folica, I just saved 30 bucks. |

I just fixed my girlfriends by ridding it of the swivel design. If there is alot of broken straighteners out there, I'm considering opening my own repair service =) |
