its pretty good but my hair is still frizzy after i straighten it i luv it but its time for a new one !!! should i get a pink new chi or get another one like this help me pick!!!

Loved it... at first
Reviewer: Britney from Ruston, LA   2009-05-06

I was really excited about getting this chi but I found that it did not work as well as my original chi that I had given to my sister. My hair would stay straight for an hour or so and then frizz up. (but that may be attributed to the fact that I live in the most humid state in the country, Louisiana) Also, it has some sort of short in it to where the temperature gauge has to be set just right for the chi to even heat up!

its ok... for a while.

ok so i didnt buy mine, someone gave it to me and they had only used it like twice. so the day i tried it, it got back to wavy/frizzy untamed hair in like 15 minutes, well that was because i didnt know how to straighten it in sections. so,that happened like 8 times. then i saw a youtube video and i finally learned how to. (like 2 weeks later) and it worked good, but it still went back to wavy, frizzy, untamed hair in like an hour. i have had this iron for like 1 year. and i dont like it at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to be a chi, its horrible. dont be fooled by the name turbo. i dont even use it anymore, i scrunch my hair now. my grandma was going on vacation the other day, and she tried it before she left, and it didnt work at all (she has really curly hair).so finally i just ordered a sedu yesterday online on folica :D and i hope it comes like saturday or something:D!! im really excited.

Good but Bad
Reviewer: Kim from Bothell, Washington   2009-04-07

This is the second CHI product I have purchased. It works great but with both items a little over a year of use the GFI plug seem to die. I went to turn it on one morning and heard a pop noise, tried the reset buttons but nothing. Now what I don't think I can get buy without my flat iron but doen't have the money to buy a new one every year either.

not the best
Reviewer: unhappy with Chi   2009-03-05

I recently broke my flat iron and have been using my sister's Chi Turbo until my new one gets here. I have thick, wavy/curly hair, and the turbo was just not hot enough. I had to go over my hair several times to see any result. My stylist recommended the FHI, which I'm glad I picked over the Chi turbo. This product does not work well with thick hair!
