This is the most awesome Flat iron it has actually improved the heath and appearance of my hair!!

I have always been an FHI type of girl, but I had to buy this when I saw the super cute design. I wish I had just stuck with the FHIs.
The iron could be worse, it does the job for the most part, but that is only if you go over your hair about 4 times with it. I'm a hairdresser, so I know what I'm doing with a flat iron and one should never have to go over your hair 4-5 times to get the job done if you have fine hair like me.
And I completely agree with what everybody else has been saying about breakage! I use an awesome thermal protector and my hair looks dry and fried on the ends after using this iron, and it only happens with THIS iron.
I miss my FHI irons :(

I purchased the pink camo flat iron about 6 months ago. The reviews were okay; with some being very bad just like other brands, however, I should have trusted the bad ones:(
Just like they read; after about 4-6 months the plates did not heat up as well, the cord was literally coming loose from the base of the plug, and the outer part of the flat iron was made of plastic which was not only cheaply made, but made the flat iron not close very well. I also had ridges in my hair b/c the iron did not perform up to standards. I gave the flat iron a two-star only b/c when I first purchased the iron, it did work great! But that only lasted for a couple of months before it started falling apart. I did use name brand, salon thermal care for my hair and it still became brittle and broke off in several places b/c I had to continually go over it soooooo many times with the flat iron to make my hair look halfway straight. The thermal pouch that came with this flat iron was awesome, though. Folica customer service is pretty good as well. Please trust your instincts when purchasing a flat iron. I have used conair, Sedu, CHI, and now I am trying a Babyliss (per my hair stylist); I hope it works....the others haven't been so great!

This is the best flat iron in the history of all flat irons.I'm african American with really curly thick hair and it made mines bone straight plus it doesn't burn my ends and so 100% recomend it to anybody with any hair type

i have had alot of straiteners but this ones the best i love it i had the original one and the fall one i got this one a couple of months ago it works the best it leaves my hair really silk to if you dont have it you should its AMAZING :)

I bought this iron for my niece. She wasn't able to use it at all! She plugged it in and it began smoking then the medal piece fell off. And to think this is a CHI!

i love my chi. everybody says that it burns your ends it will if you dont have something on your hair to keep if from burning it. i have curly sue hair and mine is straight as a board when i get done no burnt ends or nothing. i love it. no how to use it before you put it down.

I have had 3 chi straightners already. not because they broke but becaue I keep giving them away and getting the new ones that come out because I love their designes. This is the last one i bought and i love it very much. I have had it for 5 months or longer. I have natural curly hair and it works just fine on it. The reason that one girl was having trouble was because you must train your curly hair to straigten. Just a suggestion. Buy all CHI products they are great

I bought the the Camo Chi about 3 months ago and so far so good. It does a great job getting my hair straight and shiny. I love using it to do the pin straight look which it does a awesome job at it plus you can use it to curl your hair too. I really really love. It comes in a carrying case which I think is a good idea specialy for the cord to keep it safe. The cord comes with an attach black velcro strip to keep yor cord secure after each use this way it
s nice and neat. So I def. recommended!!!

This Flat Iron looks like it will break if you turn it on. And it only has an on/off switch. NOT WORTH THE PRICE! Try a Sadu. They rock!

this straightener is a piece of CRAP do not buy it it stinks so bad its the orst it stinks dont use it convince your parents not to buy it for you its a waste of money unless your rich.itss SOOOO bad i dont think it deserves a star.

I bought this for my sisters b-day and she loves the army print and all, but when she tried to straighten her CURLY hair she had to go over it many times to get the perfect strand which you could tell burned the tips of her hair f=but after a hour of straightening her hair it looked just OK + it pulled her hair sooo much it almost brought her 2 tears
