If you find that if you use this product and your hairs sticky and the residue is stuck to your heat tool, first of all don't spray too much or else its bound to get your heat tool dirty and your hair sticky. I used it and my iron broke + it was newww!! I had to buy a new one! Spray on the brush a couple of times nad then comb over your hair. then take little pieces of hair and straighten only ONCEEE. or else your hair will become hard as if you used a hair spray..

When i first tried this product i sprayed to much and my hair was stiff when i finished flat ironing. i section my hair into three parts. when i get to each part i take my brush and spray around 4 spritzes of this product on the brush and then comb through my hair. i do this on each section, when im finished i have silky hair because i used the perfect amount!

if your hair feels sitcky youre using too much!!
i experianced this with my hair i sprayed to much and it felt like a i had used a can of hairspray. it was soo stiff and sticky. but what i did was i combed over a section my hair ran over it with the straightener followed with a comb and if it was still a little stiff, ran over it once more and in the end my hair was super soft and it stayed straight all day, something i thought to be impossible!

Too sticky

When I first used it, I experienced the same thing some users had, it left my hair too sticky. What I ended up doing is, I mixed it in with CHI Silk Infusion. I put about a dime sized amount of CHI Silk Infusion in the palm of my hands, and sprayed about 4 pumps of 44 iron guard and mixed it together then applied it to my hair and brushed it through. After I was done flat ironing my hair felt so amazing and soft, and it was SOOO shiny, and it still is super soft & shiny.

So yeah, the trick is to mix it with a serum, and your hair won't be sticky anymore, and it'll feel amazing!
