African American w/relaxed color treated hair. I prefer Mizani Thermastrength serum, but ran out and resort to this CHI spray I purchased on a whim. My hair that day, was lovely, got a crisp curl and straightening. The next day it was like Beirut, dry and coarse - and I moisturize ends every other night. I was frantic! Used a conditioning shampoo followed by Mendex by Roux to restore hair equlibrium. Moving to elasta thermal liquid for cheap alternative

I have naturally wavy & very heavy & fine hair. I use flat iron on my hair atleast twice or thrice a week. I never used to use any heat protectant in my hair & that used to be a concern always & then I came across this product. It not only protects my hair but also leaves my hair softer & shiner & also it has cut down my straightening time... this is an awesome product :) really happy with it .

I have been foolishly styling my hair with no protectant and my hair is pretty damaged. The first time I used this product I was upset because it was sticky and stiff , i then read reviews and thought I could have used too much . Now I use in moderation and my hair is very shiny and soft. Smell is alright , I don't think its very strong .

I used to be so cautious of damage, and I still am to a point.. but this stuff is wonderful! Everyone need heat protection for their hair, but if you also have fine hiar, you know how I feel. I bought it for when I wanted to straighten my hair with a flat iron, however it works well when curling your hair with a curling iron as well.
