I have hormonal acne right before my period especially on my chin. These are the deep under-grounders that HURT!
I have used Murad/Proactiv/Remede/Retin A and Differin and NONE of them have worked as quickly or as dramatically as Bye Bye Blemish.
DO NOT SHAKE IT! Use a clean Q-tip to dip into the pink goo at the bottom of the bottle (use a clean one each time you dip) You will have to let the bottle sit for a day or so after you recieve it so it can settle from shipping.
Use it at night and in the morning you will be AMAZED at the reduction in swelling, redness and pain!
I will be trying their serum and scrub next!
It smells like sulfur...but it's worth it!
Good for what it does

I am a long time acne sufferer, and wanted this treatment for spot treatments along my jawline where I still get cystic acne which is very hard to clear up. Yes, this stuff works, my jawline cleared up in two days and it is still very clear.
However, I did try this on my shoulder and back, and it caused the pimples to turn bright red for several days and did not seem to heal them like they did on my face. I have very pale, sensitive skin on my body. So, my theory is that this probably works better on certain types of skin, than others. I will continue using this for my face.
I did not find the smell that bad, if you are an acne sufferer, you are used to weird chemical treatment smells, this is definitely no worse than anything else.

If acne could clear up by simply drying out the pimple, then this product would be on a list of products that acne sufferers should use. It's made up of Sulfur, which works by drying up the pimple. It is not a medication. I used this stuff...and it is very ordinary, much like other "drug store" products. It will help dry up that dreaded zit, but it never cleared up the problem. Doesn't promote cell turnover either like Retin A, which is another problem. Same results will come from using toothpaste with fluoride. Suffering with acne for the past 11 years has lead me to realize that acne is best controlled by developing a healthy skincare routine and seeing a dermatologist if you can afford it. Gentle cleansers, toners ( watch for alcohol content which can be too drying), exfoliants ( occasionally), topical solutions. Phew, my 2 cents are out now.. Best of luck to everyone, I hope that my experience and opinions can be of some help to you!
awesome!

I really love this product. I have cystic acne, and it helps to deminish the size of those breakouts, which results in the blemish not becoming a full on cysic nodule. This saves me a lot of pain and grief. This product is great!

I figured it was expensive, but you get what you pay for (most of the time). Not this time. I found it to be completely ineffective and certainly not worth the money.

I think that this works for most people really well and the people that it doesn't work for, usually say that BP works for them.
BP did absolutely nothing for me.. I stuck with it for months and it just seemed to get worse... I tried changing my diet by eliminating sugar and dairy. I tried Using Vitamin B5, and a bunch of other Vitamins and Supplements but no luck.
Then I came accross this product and it was on sale so I thought 'I'll give it a shot'
and after one use My acne is so much better!
Its not gone over night but it helps ALOT. Better than anything else I've done.
I'm so happy with this becuase I can't believe something so cheap and simple helped so much.
Use it RIGHT, People!

If you are having problems, be sure you READ THE DIRECTIONS on how to apply this product. Obviously, many of you didn't, and I can tell by your description of the product (how it looked or smelled)
DO NOT SHAKE THE BOTTLE.
Dip a Q-Tip into the pink silt on the bottom, and apply THAT to the blemish.
You ARE NOT supposed to shake it, tilt the bottle to get some on your finger, or use a cotton ball.
The pink spot will have an alcohol-like smell, but it will quickly dry on your face.
It has never, never left any kind of mark or smell on my pillowcase (I have white and very, very pale green pillowcases).
However, it could dry the skin around the blemish. I put on mousturizer first, then the BBB.
Step aside, Proactiv!

This stuff is amazing. i bought it last night and put it on a cluster of zits that i've been caking cover up all over all week. i woke up this morning and the cluster was pretty much gone, just a few little pink spots and the bumps had seriously diminished. just needed a little bit of foundation and a light sweep of powder to cover what was left. I also has a beast right in the middle of my chest i put it on that one and that's just a little pink bump now. I tried OTC's, dermatologists, chemical peels, Proactiv, the Proactiv knock off, pills, antibiotics, but this little 10.00 bottle with the stupid (but quite literal) name has me sold.

I have dealt with TERRIBLE acne since I was 12. In eight years I have tried, literally, nearly 50 different products, including doctors prescriptions, to no avail. Nothing ever even seemed to remotely help my persistent acne. Last October, about eight months ago, I was having a particuarly bad bought of acne and I was very depressed about it. I stopped in a local walgreens, hoping to find something that could help me manage the breakout. I combed the aisles, looking through products I had already tried, and I came up this product, byebye blemish. I have to admit, the "as seen on tv" sticker is what made me buy it. I took it home and when I opened it, I was shocked by the appearance of looking like a pink goey substance with something clear on top of it. I followed the directions, washed my face and applied it, AND IT BURNED! Oh man did it burn that first time I applied it. The only difference is is that it burned like it was going to work. The next day when I woke up, my hands were really dry where I hadn't rinsed the medication off. When I looked in the mirror though, I swear to you, my acne was 50% better overnight. The redness was so much better, the zits were so much less noticable, and after I applied a good lotion, everything was able to be hidden under much less makeup than I normally wore to hide acne. I continued to use the product with growing enthusiasm because every single day I woke up and my face was so much more clearer and with no new breakouts. The first month, my face was very dry. I was constantly applying lotion. After the first month though, the dryness went away, even with daily use. Now eight months later, my chronic, unmanageable acne, is gone. I still get a zit every now and then, but they aren't large, and they are gone overnight when I use the byebye blemish. For the first time in Eight years, I have been able to go out without applying a coverup, my face completely bare, and not be embarassed. I no longer feel like people are staring at my skin. I used to spend over thirty dollars a month in foundations, concealers, and powders. In the past six months I believe I have spent less than thirty dollars on coverup products. My self esteem has improved a lot, and I wish I would have found this product sooner. Like all products, it may not work for everybody, but for some people with stubborn and persistant acne like mine, it could be the miracle product you are looking for and I recommend that you try this great product.

I have been through "bad" skin and breakouts for over 20 years (since my simultaneous pre-teen/post chickenpox years). I have tried everything--like some battling their weight issues have tried different diets. But that day I ran across 'Bye Bye Blemish" at my local Walgreen's, my search was over. Since I have Secondary Progressive MS and no healthcare at this time, I didn't want to even go out to run quick errands after this borribly abrupt breakout! I started this 'BBB' and I can see everything clearly in my world again!
Thanks for helping me with something not as expensive as most other products.

I use this every night to keep my zits at bay! Any bump that begins to pop up i keep down with this drying lotion! I wouldn't recommend this for Acne ridden folks (simple because you need meds, not only topical). But for the zit prone gals (whether it be from hairspray, makeup, or dirty city streets)it works wonders. Don't use it like its a miracle worker. Wash your face properly, use a blackhead clearing toner, MOISTURIZE, then dab this stuff on ONCE a day. If you keep this habitual you will seldom be suprised by icky acne.

Bye-bye blemish is definitely a uniique product. It is rather smelly (another reviewer recommended putting a twoel over your pillowcase at night and I definitly agree, this product leaves an after-smell, even after washing linens, so use caution!) but has not been at all irritating to my skin like benzoyl peroxide products are. If used too often it can be a little drying but this is easily modified. As for the speed in zapping zits, I'd say its moderate. It certainly did not make zits disappear over night. If I had a zit, it was still there the next morning. It generally just seemed to stop the pimple from progressing further but didn't really make it go away. I had hoped that this product would help with my cystic acnce and so far it actually does seem to help a bit. When I applied it it seemed to keep the acne from developing so severely and the progression to healing seems faster. Since I've had little to no luck with other products for my cystic acne, this seems to at least be somewhat helpful. For the price I'd certainly recommend trying it.

This product is comparable to Mario Badescu's pimple drying lotion which sells for $18 per ounce. This product is great for the occaisonal pimple or a breakout confined to a few pimples. I would not recommend the use of this product for individuals with chronic acne breakouts or cystic acne it wouldn't be strong enough, and isn't meant for full face application. I buy this everytime I run out and it works great for me along with my daily skin care regimen.
