Brunette buyers beware!

I love dry shampoos and this one does "clean up" my hair well. I recently dyed my hair black so I thought I should get a black color specific kind because a lighter powder might show or look like dandruff. The problem is that the black specific is not a clearish color that blends into the black of your hair, it's black BLACK powder. So if you spray onto your forehead or neck accidentally you look like you've been splattered with black paint and have to scrub it off. The reason I like dry shampoos is that I'm a college student and they are a quick and easy fix after a long night with no time to shower. But I have to use this product sparingly and with precision, so it loses points in the quick category. There are better, less spray paint-like dry shampoos out there. I feel like this is like mascara for your hair...I have to make sure it doesn't smudge or come dribbling down my face/neck when I sweat or in the rain. I suppose this problem doesn't really matter for blondes and greys, but for us brunettes it can be an issue.;(
Best product ever!

I have patches of thin hair from a sickness I had as a child. The hair in those spots is a different texture from the rest of my hair. It is also completely gray. For years I was embarassed of my hair and couldn't come up with any way to cover up the spots. Then a new hairdresser used the B&B Hair Powder on me and I was hooked! I'll clean my bathroom 10 times a week if it means that I can have a cute hairstyle without people staring at my bald, gray patches! Yes, the powder is a little messy, but if you learn to spray it properly (spritz it) the little bit of mess is well worth it. I have been using this product for 3 years and have never, ever had a build up at the roots or color coming off on the towel. I would recommend this product to anyone!
This stuff is fabulous!

I have thinning hair on top of my head and have many female friends from my 37 year flight attendant career. This is a common problem with women. Believe me, learn how to use this product (there are a ton of flight attendants using it)and you will forget you even have the problem...and no...the hair powders are useless for this problem. My hat is off thanks to the producers of Bumble and Bumble. Pun intended!

Not only does this product make my hair feel 10X dirtier than before i put it in, but it stays in my hair after shampooing and leaves my roots with TONS of build up. I found a much better product that is free of all of the chemical parabens/aluminum/talc/silica found in the Bb hair powder. The ALL-NIGHTER is a color matched product but is a loose powder that you shake into your hair. It gives amazing volume, rids the hair of the greasy look without making it look completely matte like Bb and it smells great. And for only $18 you can't beat it!!!
Hair Powder the "best"

Wish I found this product years ago. Between coloring, it's the greatest to cover the grey. The person who submitted it covered her bathroom, should have narrowed her spraying to her head and not her walls!
This is the best ever to cover grey between touchups!!!

There is no doubt that this product will cover gray. It will also, even from a light, quick spray following the package directions, cover every surface of your bathroom, coat your forehead, get all over the shower stall, and linger in your hair after shampooing, so that it will rub off onto your towel. The worst part is that I can't believe I was foolish enough to try it, as it stands to reason that all of the above would happen. It leaves a dull, flat finish on the hair and a mess in the bathroom. Not recommended!
Love it

Not as great of a product as it seems

I purchased the blonde powder spray thinking it will help cover my roots between touch ups. The product is no where near blonde, it's actually light brown. So I have to spray my roots and a bit of the portion below to blend it in. The spray stains your scalp and is somewhat sticky. It also makes your hair dry. Basically if you use the spray you will need to wash your hair the next day. I kept as a "just in case I may need it" kind of product but, it really wasn't worth the $35.00.

this product does cover up your grays and absorbs the oils, but it is messy to use at first. but BEWARE if you take pictures with this product on it will show in pictures. for example, you could see in the picture where i sprayed this product because it is very matte and not shiny like my hair. it is quite embarrasing
Works great, but..

This product works great but it stains quite a bit. The first couple of times I used it, I got it all over my forehead, the sink and bathroom counter.
After a couple of uses, you pretty much figure out it out, and if used correctly, it works great. My hair feels much thicker (i've lost quite a bit of hair to lupus) and it just gave me the confidence I didn't have before. Will definitely buy again.
Works great

Because of a medical condition, I have thinning hair on top of my head. I use this product to cover my scalp so my hair looks fuller. It works great! The trick is to separate the hair to get the product where you want it. I have recommended it to many friends whose hair is thinning too. They love it.
overpriced

This product is ridiculously overpriced however it does offer a temporary "fix" in between hair colorings. At an $19.00 for one ounce one would expect the spray to actually work. I have bought 2 one ounce cans so far and both sprayers failed! When the first sprayer failed, the color stained and ruined my white robe. So beware and save your receipt. On the company website there is no customer service or contact info, obvious reason.
Doesn't work that great and it's overpriced!

My scalp is very oily and one of the reasons why I bought this was because of the reviews online, maybe it would work great on normal or dry scalp but not on my very oily scalp. Somewhat I felt sick and sticky all over my hair, it makes my hair unruly and unmanageable. Very overprice, I paid around $40 for it thinking it must be good since it's expensive but I was dead wrong.

I like this product to blend my roots between colorings. Also I use it on my bangs between shampoos to get rid of 'greasy bangs' without having to wash my hair. Spray sparingly at first until you get the hang of how much pressure you actually need. You don't want to spray too much as this stuff does not match my hair color exactly Ithe red looks orangy on my cherry red hair). Can be a bit messy at times and sometimes sticks a little too well to my scalp leaving me with red where I part my hair. Folica's price is great too as this product can cost significantly more in salons.

I absolutely love this product. Provides complete coverage of stubborn grey without all the inconvenience of having to sit and wait around. It's compact enough to carry around in my purse for those emergency touch-ups. I highly recommend this product.
