I used this shampoo and it dyed my hair lighter. I am very unhappy with this product. Makes your hair feel nice, but after you use it for awhile, you will notice the hair becoming lighter.

I'm an African American woman with hair that is VERY dry. My favorite shampoo is Arbonne, but I decided to try the Brilliant Brunette samples that I received in the mail. Suprisingly, I was overjoyed at the results! I didn't use the shampoo for a color boost and haven't noticed a change in color so far, but my hair is SO soft and silky! It is a mild formula that gets my hair clean with only one shampoo (as long as I rinse with cold water). I ended up buying the shampoo and conditioner and will buy the shine enhancer as well. Based upon my experience, I would recommend this shampoo to ANYONE with dry, hard to manage hair. I still like Arbonne better, but this is BY FAR the best alternative when my funds are running low!
