Not igniting

I've used this curler for years, and as some commented, it does stop igniting. Try not to get hair spray and other products on the iron as it can block up. However, when I've had problems in the past, I find that if I press the gas cylinder up manually while igniting, that it works fine once it's going. You could also put a bit of silver foil in the base to hold it up that extra 1/8th inch.
Remember too, you're not supposed to fly with these in your luggage as they're a fire hazard. But, it's worth this small sacrifice.
