Fast and convenient

I love this curling iron because you can take it anywhere, it heats up fast and styles very well. I can drive with damp hair, get to my destination, and do my hair in my car!

There were not enough electrical plugs at an event where all the ladies were getting ready together. My butane curling iron got hot very quickly and curled my hair just as good as my electrical one.

Rather thasn worry about voltage and oulets and stuff like that when traving in Europe and Africa, I used this butane hairstyler. It passed all intense airport screening, with the butane in appliance and cover in place. And my wispy, fine straight hair was smooth and full looking.

I have used this curling iron for years and loved it; however, I have been concerned about the heating element in the last year or so. It takes much longer to ignite than it used to and you have to keep checking it to be sure it did ignite. I agree that the older product was much more reliable. I'm going to try ordering one more time and hope that the product improves. I will definately continue purchasing if the product continues to provide reliable service. It's great for traveling!

I have used this product for years and love the way it curls my hair. It is easy to travel with and so very convenient. If you want an easy and hair-friendly product, this is the one.

I have used Braun cordless curling irons for years. When it works, it's great! The older ones worked much better. Mine is relatively new and it's very finicky. I got rid of the older one because it wouldn't heat up. Sometimes this one heats up immediately,and other times it just won't work. I had to buy a back-up plug in iron. I would like Braun to make a cordless with a 1" barrel, and one that works consistently .

I carry it everywhere with me for quick fixups. You can click it on..wait a minute...fix up your hair...click it off...put the cover back on and stick it right back in your purse. Wish I had known about this a long time ago.

I wanted this cordless curling iron for work. I was looking for the Clicker from the 80's. I guess they don't make that one any more. This is just like it except it's a little bigger. I just tried it out and it's excellent and even has the brush attachment. Folica SHIPS FAST. I love that and I will be buying from this site again.

I have been using this curling iron for years. I would be lost without it. Gets hot, but not too hot. Very portable. I highly recommend it.

I have owned this product for several years. I got an extra one to have at our vacation place so that I don't have to haul it back and forth. I like it because it is a larger size curl. It does go through the cartridges faster than my old one - about one every 3 weeks - I use it daily. The only other thing I don't like is that the starter mechanism doesn't always ignite and often requires several tries before heating up.

I bought this because I hate cords! And because I wanted a curling iron I could travel to london with (without the hassle of internation plugs, etc). The iron takes a little time to heat up, but it works fine on my hair (and I have thick, long hair). This curling iron is great for someone who travels a lot and wants to give their hair a nice subtle wave. I highly recommend it.

I think it is awesome! I had one of the very first ones that came for about 7 years and just loved it but then it died so I purchased this new one and I think it's great! Keep up the good work!

Went camping and the only worry I had was what if I am not near an electric outlet - Don't worry. Curl your hair anywhere. Really works!
Just have to hold it in place a bit longer than a plug in one but just the fact that you can curl your hair outside miles from an outlet is worth every penny.
Girls gotta look good even out in the wilderness.
The boyfriend was pretty impressed that I was that together.
Now if we could just get a waterless shower.....lol

My only complaint is the size of the barrell, if it were 1-1/2 or 1-3/4 I woul be happier.

Pros: Heats up fast & I like the portability without the cord.
Cons: doesn't always ignite on first strike, you can hear the hiss of butane which makes me a little fearful of it possibly exploding. Have there been any reports of these things exploding? I would purchase this item again if/when they could make a 1 1/4" barrel.
