I admit I was a bit sceptical about this iron. My hair is really thick and long, and to be honest I doubted this iron would curl it at all. In fact it's so hard to curl my hair that I've had to invest in professional curling irons. I'm going on a trip and voltage is going to be an issue, so I thought I would pick up one of the cordless irons. Not only did the iron curl really well, it also straightened (not the intended use, but it works). I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The cartridges are easy to find in my area as well. Travel the world, enjoy the ease of this product. So convenient to use, your hair will hold the curl better than when curled with so many other irons.......... plus no cord to tangle with. After using an iron like this for over 10 years this is still the best . Folica is an outstanding company. I got this as a gift and tried it out, forst as a straightening iron (not the labeld use I know, but it worked really well), and then to put curls in my hair. I LOVE IT! I've always had problems curling my hair, but this is really easy! I have long hair, and can never get it curled, and if I tried the curl would only last for so long, When I tried the Braun it was so amazing, I love doing my hair now, and it doesn't take that long either cause the iron heats ups so hot, that it just takes seconds for the curl to form, so your not sitting there for hours in the mirror. Would recommend this Iron to everyone, it's a great product. LOVE IT I just got off of the phone with Folica.com costumer service. I was on hold for almost one hour before I could even talk to a costumer service representative! I ordered this curling iron from them on a Monday. I called in and placed the order personally so that I could talk to an actual person about shipping options. I needed the curling iron by Saturday because I am leaving town Sunday. To make a long story short, the curling iron never came. I called them on Friday (today) to see where the curling iron could possibly be and they told me my order had been cancelled. They claimed that they had sent me an email on Tuesday explaining that the curling iron could not be sent priority like I had asked because it was a haz-mat item and needed to go ground. I never received that email. Because I did not respond to the email I never received, they automatically cancelled the order. So, I was expecting a curling iron in the mail any day and the order had been cancelled without me even knowing. I don't understand why the person I talked to on the phone Monday could not explain that they couldn't ship it in two days and LET ME PAY FOR TWO DAY SHIPPING!
