Easy Installation

You can install this dryer on the wall or inside a drawer within five (5) minutes, no special tools needed.

Mounting on the wall

1. Drill two holes vertically with 125mm (5") apart (diagram 1)
2. Insert the grommets (included) into the holes
3. Screw the hook (included) onto the hole at the top
4. Mount the base on the hook
5. Position the unit and insert the bottom screw (included)
6. Attach the rubber cap (included) onto the bottom screw
7. Plug the appliance into a nearby outlet and move the power switch to the "ON" position.

Mounting inside the drawer

1. Drill two holes 90mm (3.5") apart
2. Align the base to the holes and insert the screws
3. Plug the unit into a nearby outlet and move the master power switch to the "ON" position.

Convenient, but mediocre

We bought 2 of these from Folica about 3 yrs ago. My summary is this: PROS: easy to mount on wall; great for guys, children, and short hair; built-in nightlight; gentle air flow; convenient. CONS: spiral cord from base to handle is too short; electrical plug cord is way too long; even on the "max"setting the air flow is pathetically weak if you have a thick head of hair--it'll take a LONG time to dry your hair!; tends to make my hair frizz (even though it's an ionic one). Overall, it's okay, but if you have a lot of hair, I'd avoid this one & get one more powerful.

burn out

We've only used this dryer a few months and already have to replace it! One day last week, I turned it on and smelled that it was burning. The burning was followed by smoke. The built in GFI never did function. I had to pull the plug (good thing it wasn't hardwired into the wall)! Aside from that, the coil cord is heavy and non-flexible. And the power cord exits out of the top only, causing me to bend the power cord out of the top and down to the outlet. A disappointment to say the least. It is listed as a Folica 'Best Buy'.

Small enough to be unobtrusive, yet powerful enough to do the job (for a man - not sure it is powerful enough for a woman or someone with longer, thicker hair). The night light is there, but not useful unless you leave your blow dryer plugged in all night long. Still, good product, reasonable price.

Although I felt this would be a good hair dryer, I had to return mine. The reason was the cords. None of the pictures show that the plug-in cord comes out of the top of the dryer base. I wanted to mount the dryer on the wall, and the plug-in cord does not look good coming out the top and draping down, plus it was too long and hung way off the counter. With no way to adjust the length, it was a hazard for small children to grab. Also, the coil cord to the dryer head was actually too short to use the dryer comfortably.

So far so good. Simple to install and operate. Wall mount makes room for other items in the drawer. So far, very satisfied!
