I was expecting to get a nice shave out of it. I have never used anything besides a razor so when i received it I ran right into the shower and began shaving me legs. I kept going over the same spots and i could still see the hair. I ended up grabbing my regular razor and finishing it off. On a good note, i used it to shape up my boyfriends hair and it worked pretty well. I haven't used it on my bikini area yet but i won't keep my hopes up.

First of all, on the box it says this shaver can be used in the shower with running water, and on the inside instructions, they say DO NOT use in the shower. Just to be safe, I didn't use it in the shower. But wow, the shaver is really worse than a regular razor, it doesn't have much power, and is a pain to clean. stick to a razor or more expensive auto-shaver.
The only reason for a 3-Star rating is the "cosmetic groomer". that alone is worth the price. it gets fine little hairs so easily and doesn't cut at all, reaches anywhere. i can't live without it now. it's powerful enough to give a haircut with yet no way to nick yourself!

Well the lady shaver certainly does the job. I like it - it is small, compact, light, and takes off the hair on my legs quickly and painlessly. On the other hand, the cosmetic groomer does not work at all. I tried 2 different brand new batteries in it, and nothing.... maybe it was just from a bad batch! Who knows!
