I love this hair iron! one morning (about 6 months after purchase) it stopped working, i went totally panic! My husband came over, he pressed one button at the plug, it worked again!

My engineer husband explained that the safety plus will shut off the power to the iron if there's power surge. All you need to do is to press the "reset" button again.
