This is a great product to keep up with your tan in between tanning sessions. Yes, the bulb aren't as powerful as a tanning bed, but it's still more than enough for your face. See for yourself!

i have light - medium skin, so starting from there - you won't get anywhere with this. the bulbs are way too weak and i still didn't get any color. i even used tanning oils. the bulbs died after a week.
such a waste of money i would not buy it for 5 dollars if i only knew.

OMGGG!!!! I can't believe that I have gone 19 years without using this!!!! I love it!!!!!!!! It has made me so much more confident!!! I never knew what a tan could do to you but it makes me look absolutley gorgeous!!!! like, ive never looked soo good that i look like megan fox!!! i used to be so uglY!!! this is the best product in the whole wide world!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! it takes at least 20 minutes to do it everyday but i dont care!!! so worth my time!! and soo cheap!!!

I also have type II skin and this stuff is the best! It works great for people who burn very easily and burn minimally! I love how I can control how much exposure I want with the automatic shut off!!! I also followed the guide and started with 10 minutes...increased by 5 minutes each week and I'm now on my third week with 20 minutes!! I agree, you don't see results until 20 minutes! But hey, for 100 bucks with no tax no shipping fees this stuff is amazing!
Make sure that after the tanning sessions you apply lotion since UV rays cause skin to dry! and dont exfoliate away yoru tan!!!

I received my Bion Face tanner about 1.5 weeks ago. I paid 0 shippinga and it arrived 2 days after I ordered it! Excellent service and nothing was broken! I will be shopping at Folica more often now! Anyways, I have blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin (Type II Skin) and I have been following the user guide carefully. I started the first week with 10 minutes, and I am on my second week for 15 minutes. The third week you do 20 minutes and the fourth week you do 30 minutes. I have seen a very slight tan (not very noticeble yet) but I have to try it longer (other people have said at least do 20 minutes so I need to do more) Anyways, since I'm new at tanning (I've never been to a bed...I can't compare) but I like the fact that it was cheap and it does work. I will post when I see more results for people with skin type II!
I go to boarding school so I love having this in my dorm room under my bed and pop it up when I need to tan before dinner time! It has put me in a very good mood!

This product is a joke. The tanning power is way too weak. Even when you tan for the maximum 30 minutes, there is very little or no result. Spend an extra $100 and get one of the higher-powered 700-800 watt facial tanners.

I burn under the sun, but for some reason after one month of using this (I have used it for 17 hours already, 4 1/2 of which were for my arms) I am not half as tan as I would like. My neck tanned very quickly, but my face is still whitish. I recommend staying a good four inches away and stay very still for a long time. You also have to keep up a regular schedule with it. I have been using it nearly every day except the weekends.
I purchased mine from another source, but it is identical. I recommend this for clearing up acne, but if you aren't used to tanning, don't buy this just to tan. You really have to tan A LOT for it to work.

I recently bought a face tanner for myself and just love it. The Doctor put me on medication and my face was breaking out. I decided to buy a face tanner and WOW!!!!!!!

I BOUGHT THIS TO KEEP MY TAN AFTER I CAME HOME FROM VACATION, FIRST I MUST SAY: USE A TANNING LOTION, SECOND: YOU MUST TAN FOR AT LEAST 20 MIN TO SEE A CHANGE, IF I HAD TO BUILD A TAN FROM NOTHING USING THIS I BELIEVE IT WOULD TAKE A VERY LONG TIME, BUT TO MAINTAIN ITS OK...BEATS GOING TO THE SALON ALL THE TIME.

I purchased two of the Bion Face Tanning Lamps and was happy to discover that price was excellent with free shipping, packaging was perfect with safety fillers utilized, all items worked immediately and safety goggles and informative packets were included. Tanner works great with automatic shut-off and safety timer to limit exposure. I nolonger feel the requirement to GO TO THE PROFESSIONAL TANNING SALON. I now can limit my trips to the salon when I want to go for a full body exposure. Thanks for giving me back a few hours per week....once spent at the salon. I am a very happy customer of Folica, Inc. The Bion Face Tanner has helped clear my son's complexion in just a few sessions. It is also helpful to alleviate the winter blues up north when the days are shorter.

I like to have a little color in my face over the winter months so decided to try this out. I've only used it four times, but I love the results! I can definately see the difference. I do each side of my face for 15 minutes while I watch TV and it works out great! I was nervouse when I read about other peoples shipping issues, but mine arrived with no broken bulbs. I recommend it for anyone who is considering it!

I WORK GRAVEYARD SO DON'T GET A LOT OF SUN DURING THE WINTER. THIS IS HELPING WITH GETTING SOME KIND OF SUNLIGHT ON FACE. IS HELPING WITH ACNE ALSO. LOVE IT!

Power-wise, this isn't even close to the salon lamps, but for the price, I say it's still a good buy. It works, only it takes longer than I thought. The instructions say to use it only for 10 min the first time - way too little exposure for me. I used it for 20 min the first time, and 30 min/day since. It took me about four consecutive days to start seeing results. Only after a week I could say my face looked tanned, but at least it didn't go through the red/fried looking phase. Plus, this one helped clear the acne spots on my chin, so to me, it was worth the money and the time.
The product arrived on time, no damages, no problems.

I struggled with acne, but since I bought the Bion facial tanner my acne cleared within 3 days. It is amazing, I would recommend this product to anyone who has every shyed away from social occasions because of their skin appearence. This product has truely helped me. Buy it!
