I have spent the last 2 weeks buying and returning hairdryers. I started with the Hot Tools tourmaline. Then the Chi pro, turbo, and nano and then FHI. Last night I was down to the Chi and the Bio Ionic. I dried half of my hair with the CHI and half with the Bio Ionic. Couldn't tell much difference on either side. The CHI side felt a slight bit softer so I figured that is what I'd keep. FYI- I have long, thick, curly hair. I then went to give my kids a bath. When I came out I got a glimpse of myself in the mirror. The Chi side was totally frizzy and unruly. The Bio Ionic side looked great. Then today I dried my hair with the Bio Ionic. It ended up being a rainy day, bad for curly hair, and my hair was straight and smooth all day! The best part is, I don't have to go over my hair with an iron after I blow dry. It is smooth, has volume, and is shiny. Oh, and it only takes 10 minutes from wet to dry on my thick hair. I love this dryer!!
I did try the Bio Ionic Whisper Quiet first. It is also really great. I found that the nano is as quiet but gets a little hotter which is what I a need. The Whisper model is probably better for fine hair. Both are great.

best blow dryer ever. have been a stylist for 18 yrs...only one quirk...the control buttons are in the wrong place...should be on the back side...and could use a longer chord

My first Bio Ionic hairdryer lasted 7 years, which I loved. This model seems to works just as well by giving my naturally curly hair a super shiny frizz free blow out. The light strip on the side is a little cheezy. Hoping this one has a long life too.
