I purchased this flat iron as my first iron.
It did the job straightening my hair but when you step outside into the humidity :|

I wasn't happy with this con,but it did the job farily well

I've had this iron for more than two years and it works wonderfully. I have a strong wave, long and thick hair. It only takes 20 minutes for me to do my whole head (and I don;t have to turn it up to 450). The only disadvantages are the price (it's high here) and it doesn't work well with wet hair (because there are no steam vents on the extra-wide plates).I would recommend it to anyone who has had difficulty finding a quick and easy way to straighten their hair.

It doesn't work for really curly hairs like me. Also, my hair is very frizzy and it doesn't work well! It took me 6 tries just to get a strand straight... so disappointing.

This flatiron has been working wondrefully for me. I have thick, afro-european, waist-length hair, and this gets it done in under an hour. My old iron took an hour and a half, and my hair didn't come out shiny and healthy like it does with the bio ionic. It doesn't get my hair perfectly straight, and my hair reacts slightly to the FL summer humidity, but overall, it's great, and I use a cheap straightening gel. I've even dropped it 3 times and it still works good as new. I don't think it's quite worth the price, though.

I have used many flat irons and my hair type is average as far as fine or course and is slighlty wavy. The Bio Ionic flat iron definitely leaves my hair frizz free and silky; however, it doesn't straighten my hair stick straight like the Sedu and Chi irons do. The Chi iron I had made my hair smell like it was burning and there seemed to be a short in it as the light would go off at times and come back on and I returned it quickly. I currently use the Sedu 1/1/2 inch and have found that it doesn't seem to leave my hair burnt smelling and leaves my hair just as straight as the Chi iron. The Sedu leaves my hair silky like the Bio Ionic. If you have pretty straight hair to begin with I would choose the Bio Ionic, but if you have any natural wave or curl I don't feel it will get it perfectly straight. I also swear by the Bio Ionic blow dryers to help keep your hair frizz free wheather wearing it curly or straight as my hair frizzes up like crazy with any other blow dryer even others that claim to used ionic technology.

This flat iron is great mainly because it doesn't cause split ends or breakage. My hair is really frizzy if I don't straighten it. I used to have a chi and it worked well but it would fry my hair! I would definately recommend this flat iron to everyone! Plus, these are less expensive than chi's and its worth the price.

i have like curly/wavy super thick hair and ive tried so many different irons, ive had a babylis, multiple chis and a metropolis flat iron, and the bio ionic one i just got recentry after my new metropolis broke only because they didnt have another metropolis but the bioionic is the best iron ive ever used, it cut my straightening time down by at least 10 minutes and it made my hair 5x straighter and silkier it was most definatly worth the money!

Basically I am miser person and don't like to spend money on these things but after the purchase of Bio Ionic flat iron it changed my mind and now I know the money which I spent is worth it. I feel so confident and smart. This product have changed my life and my looks and I look ten years younger. I highly recommend to by this product instead of wasting your money on different kind of flat irons. Thanx

Simply the best! I've never had a more versatile tool in all my life. I have very curl Afro American hair, and after using the bioinic iron, I'll never go back to what I used to have (Sedu and Hai which used to fry my hair). Not only does the bioionic not burn my hair, but it keeps it from frizzing and curling up when i go out side more than any other iron I've every used. If your looking for the best, bioinic is for you, accept no substitutions!
No more crispy-fried ends!

I was originally out to get a CHI iron because that's what my hairdresser uses. But the salesgirl insisted that I rethink my decision and try this iron instead. She told me that she'd seen alot of disappointed customers trying to return their CHI's, but she'd never seen this iron returned yet. Also, it boasts a 10-year warranty! This seems like a company that will stand behind their product 100%.
My hair feels soft and conditioned when I iron it. It's pin-straight and shiny. And it doesn't give you that "fried hair" look or feel.
The iron itself is very lightweight and has a long cord. I absolutely love this flat iron!

I'm a hair stylist and have been ironing my own hair for at least 7 years. For the last 5 years have used Bio Ionic products (Dryers, brushes, irons, etc) exclusively at my station. My own hair after 5 yrs of ironing is still soft, silky and sexy (its almost down to my waist), I also iron on top of full head of hi lights. Suggest it to my ironing customers EVERYDAY! (Don't forget the flat iron spray to help keep hair healthy!!)

I just purchased this one through my friend and i love it.
My old iron broke and was chi for $340 i just got that one and is much better than chi
For that price you should risk it and try it there is no way you gona return this one :)

This flat iron makes my hair soft and smooth and produces the results that I want. Have been using it for several months now and my hair is healthy, shinny, soft. Would recommend this product for all those needing a flat iron.

I own 3 flat irons and of the three, I would not use this one again. The ceramic plates are of less quality. Specifically, while using same temperature as I would with the other flat irons (Sedu/Hai), the BioIonic plates generate more direct heat. My hair does not feel protected from the coating on plates as it does with the other brands. I let my sister borrow the two, and she preferred the Hai over the BioIonic, as she came away with the same opinion concerning the plates. I have fine, curly hair that is very dry and would not recommend this product to others with similar hair type.

This product is amazing. I AM TOTALLY STUNNED! I didn't really expect it to work this good. It makes my hair sooo incredibly soft and smooth all day long. I cannot believe it. I have normal, naturally straight hair, but it flips out at the end. Until now, I couldn't find a straightener that straightens out the flips. Fortunatley, this one came to the rescue. I am so glad that i bought it. For anyone who has stubborn hair that is normally difficult to straighten, and you want soft and smooth results, GET THIS STRAIGHTENER!!!

Ok, so I bought this flatiron 1 days ago and I tried it! And OH MY GOD!! It makes your hair sooo smooth and straight, I have really curly hair but with this flat-iron it's smooth, straight & look heatlthy! It doesent take time at all lol ;) well... you should really buy it... even if it's not a popular flatiron - it's the best and trust me it'll be known soon :P lol well i love itt!!! <3

I have been using BioIonic for some time now and honestly believe that there is nothing else like it. Definately worth the money at twice the cost. Product arrived quickly but unfortunately with a nick in the plate. I didn't return it as I just didn't have time to wait for a new one to be shipped.

I bought this flat iron after being disappointed with another brand. The sales person let me test the product and it took me like 2 seconds to decide to buy this. Now my hair really looks like it was done professionally.
