This dryer either provides very, very high heat or cold air. The airflow is quite weak. I am used to using professional dryers, but this is not worth the money. My hair felt gummy and gross afterward. My hair is extremely curly, but not very coarse. Perhaps it works better on coarse hair. I'm returning this one!

The Bio-Ionic blow dryers are the best I've ever found if you have frizz prone hair. I have used all of the models even the travel one. I use the Whishper Light one for everyday use. It leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth and less frizzy than any blow dryer out there. I have not found any as good even others claiming to use Ionic technology. I have had mine for about 6 months and have traveled with it several times. I have never found it to be flimsy nor have any of the screws or anything came out. My hairdresser uses this hair dryer so that is how I found out about it. Had I not seen her use it on my hair, I would have never thought any blow dryer was worth this kind of money. However, now I'm a believer and would never buy a cheaper one.

Hit: With the right brush this Dryer smooths hair like nobody's business
Miss: It's so smoothing it's tough getting volume with this thing.
Hit: It's very light weight AND fairly powerful
Miss: They made it lightweight by using low-grade lightweight plastic, which makes it weak. Too weak, in fact, for the motor it's housing. Sort of like putting a jet engine on a hang-glider. The motor shakes the screws loose and parts go flyin' everywhere! Mine busted 2x in 10 months

Purchased this hair dryer for my mother because I have an earlier version and love it sooo much! She loves the new hair dryer...it is quiet and totally changes the appearance of her hair. It makes hair smooth and silky and practically eliminates any frizz. An AMAZING Product! I don't know how we ever got by without our Bio Ionic Hair Dryers!
