Revising My Review

I originally wrote that this was a truly great curling iron, and it does honestly work well on my hair. However, after only four months, it has started to rust at the tip and the ceramic outer layer is chipping away. I can still use it, but I'm NOT happy to have spent so much money on a product that isn't lasting.
Exceptional Product

My Bio-Ionic curling iron is great. It heats up super-fast, curls my fine, straight hair beautifully, and even works well (for me) as a straightener. I use the #4 heat setting, #5 was way too hot, but I love having all the options. Highly recommended.
Not bad.

I'm very happy with this curling iron, and the curls look healthy not burnt.

I am a stylist and I love this iron and the whole bio ionic line it is much better than Farouk in my opinion. It is used in all the upscale salons and clients will pay more just to have these irons used on their hair. It's a great investment.
Makes me like styling my hair

I noticed there are a few reviewers who felt the product was not right for their hair type. I have thin hair but a lot of it, though not as much as I did as a teenager! Still, I have never used an iron that makes me actually enjoy curling my hair. It's not that long, a few inches below my shoulders, but I am so happy with the results that I've abandoned my trusty pony tail and started experimenting. The curls keep even overnight- very sexy bed head type stuff. I even like this iron better than my chi flat iron! For me, it was more worth the bucks than the chi. Highly recommend if you have hair with a little bit of wave in it anywhere between extremely coarse and extremely thin. Love the levels (1-5). Recommend level 4 for serious staying power. Haven't tried 5 yet!
too expensive!

This product is ok, not bad and also not good enough for $ 129 curling iron. I have healthy thin and fine hair that is very easy for styling and this curling iron dont hold the curl and I can feel that my hair dry after use it. I like the appearance of the product and the concept but not worth the money. I ended up return this product. thank you Folica for an easy and fast return process.

I expected for the money a really nice curling iron. It works like the $20 model I can get at Wal-mart....
I am sorry I spent the money.... I thought at this price I would be getting salon quality......
Great iron

I purchased this curling iron and just love it! It hardly takes anytime for me to do my hair. I have very coarse curly hair that can be unruly at times and this iron helps tame it. I highly recommend it.
