Shine is OK but smell is unbearable...

I'm used to smelling various hair/perfume/ect/ products, since I always use a lot of things that have some kind of smell, like hairspray, perfume, ect., but the smell of the BioSilk Silk Therapy Shine On is just UNBEARABLE! I've tried it for 3 days, and the smell gives me a huge headache. The first time I tried it a couple of days ago I almost choked; it was that awful! The shine is pretty good, but my hair still looks dry. I have thin hair and use a lot of heat products, and I thought this would leave my damaged hair looking glossy and shiny. The shine was OK but barely noticeable. I'm planning on returning it today. If you can't stand the smell of hairsprays and such, then don't get this product, because this is like the smell of hairspray x10.

I'm not entirely sure if this is from Farouk(?) but I am thinking it is. The name Biosilk rings a bell. On to what the reader needs to know-- I absolutely adored this shine spray(and I do not use those terms loosely) It provides an extremely sheer cover that makes hair radiate. I have moderately thick, super curly, long hair. Frizzy as well! My hair doesn't lack shine by any means, but it definitely never hurts to boost it! Often I would use this product when using a flat-iron, for those damned things seem to strip my natural shine. I highly recommend this product, it is one of best out on the market.. when pertaining to shine that is. It's brilliant, trust me. If anyone is an Ebayer, search for Farouk Systems Shine on Spray, it works wonders upon wonders.

I THOUGHT THIS PRODUCT WAS A GOOD HAIR SHEEN SPRAY. IT IS MAINLY FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS A HAIR SPRAY WITHOUT LEAVING THEIR HAIR LOOKING STICKY OR DRY. IT COVERS WELL, IT'S A LIGHT HAIR SPRAY AND ADDS A SHEEN. I WOULD NOT PURCHASE IT JUST FOR THE SHEEN ESPECIALLY IF YOU DO NOT NEED A FINISHING SPRAY ( NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT). TRY FRIEDA 100% HAIR SHINE. IT SEALS THE ENDS AND ADDS A LASTING GLOSS THAT IS NOT OILY LOOKING.

This is a great product for getting my hair smooth and shiny. I have very light blonde hair and often have a problem with styling products darkening my hair. This product does not do that. It is also light and does not weigh my hair down. I would highly recommend you try it.

My hair stylist use this product on my hair after she flat irons it. It is amazing. I am African American my hair has never been permed and I totally love this product. I stopped using grease and oils on my hair a long time ago because I don't like greasy hair. But this product is great, its like a dry shine on spray. It leaves your hair so silky and soft without the oil. It moisturizes and replenish your hair leaving it looking and feeling good. I receive so many compliments on my hair when I use this product. I highly recommend it to anyone who want that shine but without the oil. I am a customer for life!!!

I purchased the glosser and the spray because I wasn't sure which type of product I prefered. They were so inexpensive I said what the heck! Although I prefer products without alcohol (my hair is bone dry), I'm going to keep using this and the glosser to determine which works best. I alternate between the two. They both work great. Not sticky or heavy.

My daughter and I are caucasion, but very curly hair. We put this on after shampoo and use it during flat ironing. We love it.

It made my hair VERY SHINY, however I feel like I had to wash my face afterwards because I think the spray clogged my pores. I don't use it very often. It does make hair a big greasy.

This product definitely adds shine, but with my thick, course hair, needs to be reapplied throughout the day to keep the shine.

I love this glosser! This is perfect for my LONG, THICK, color-treated hair because it seems weightless. My hair weighs 2 tons as it is. After my shower, I apply some Biosilk Silk Therapy and then spray on Biosilk Silk Therapy Shine On as the last step. I usually spray it on twice a day. It gives me great shine and I love the way it smells! I've tried many shine sprays and this is the only one that doesn't weigh down my hair and gives me great shine! I definitely recommend this product and will buy it agsin.

I am an African Canadian and I use this spray after I flat iron my hair and also when I go with a curly style. It leaves my hair shiny and smelling nice, but not feeling greasy. I actually don't mind people touching my hair
I also want to say what a great company Folica.com is. Great customer service! I'll definately tell my friends about this website.

I love biosilk shine on!!! I'am african american and I no longer use dudley's oil sheen. It brings out my highlights and make my hair feel light and smell fresh. I have been using it for three months now and will forever use it.

Biosilk shine on is awesome. My hair was very thick and not so curley as frizzy, but i flat iron it and its still frizzy with flyaways. Then Biosilk makes it perfect shiney and smooth with no flyaways- anyone can benfit from it seriously people try it its a miracle. :)

This worked very well on my dry hair (due to highlights growing out) I liked that it left shine but didn't feel greasy later or the next day. I would definitely recommend spraying this on before using a ceramic flat iron to protect the hair.
