My hair is natural curly, I call it water hair. You wet it, and the curls come to life, but with a lot of frizzing. Using the BioSilk Silk Therapy Smoothing Balm cream help to calm down the friz and give me beautiful curls. Very nice. I was happy.

i saw that this product was on the list and so i told my mom to buy it when she wen to get her hair done at the salon. she bought and gave it to me, and the first time i used it, it was ok. but the 2nd and3rd time it made my hair a big greaseball. but Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum works really good.

It's a good product you just need to put a little bit on. I usually use it when I'm done straightening my hair. It works well. Just try not to put on alot because it won't work. Your hair will look shiney and nice I love this product.

With my thick, wavy, and frizzy hair, initially I thought the product made my hair smoother--still felt very thick and NOT soft. As the day wore on in the Cincinnati humidity, my hair was less smooth and not silky or as soft as I had hoped.
Too much?

I love this serum but some of the other reviews are bad. Maybe it's because you put too much in? Because too much will look oily and will weigh you down. You only need a little. I have really really thick wavy hair and I only use a dime sized amount.

My hair is straight thick and frizzy. I don't notice any differenc when i use this product and dry my hair with a blow dryer. I'm not sure if its my hair dryer that reducing the frizz or the product. WHen I don't have time to blow dry my hair I work this product through the ends of my hair and it did make a difference. My hair was less frizzy than if i went without any of this stuff in it. I had not problem with oily hair because i do not work this product anywhere near my roots. I naturally have oily hair. My hair is just sleek and soft.

I don't understand some of the bad reviews! But if you use this on damp hair, after you have applied the serum, then blow dry your hair & use a flat iron (HAI Convertable is excellent!) than you will get fabulous results! I cannot tell you what a miracle product this is, since I have really curly hair that would frizz easily but NOT anymore! If used correctly, you will get great results!
still FRIZZY

Felt gross and too oily upon application. Despite gobs of Biosilk applied to my wavy coarse hair, it did not eliminate the frizz. Total waste of money. Later in the day, due to the alcohol in the product, it did dry out yet did not help my hair look better.
Good for fine,curly hair...

I have just recently tried this product. I have been in search of a product to keep the frizz factor down and leave my hair feeling soft. This one does it. I put quite a large amount into wet hair from roots to ends and let dry naturally. When my curls dry, they do feel a bit "crisp", but after scrunching through the dry hair, it softens up and leaves my hair frizz free. Right now, this product is running neck and neck with my other favorite product.Phytodefrisant relaxing balm. The Biosilk is less expensive and easier to get. I can get it at CVS drugstore, whereas I have to order the Phyto online and wait for it to be delivered.

I'm a huge fan of BioSilk products and use many of the other products on a regular basis and LOVE them. This particual product, however was a complete disappointment. It makes your hair limp, heavy, and sticky. Stay away from this stuff!

Yes, my 4b(African American)relaxed hair was straight and shiny when I flat ironed it. However, it made my eyes burn and no telling what the longterm use would do to my hair.I immediately washed it out. Perhaps it's the alcohol content. Sorry, this one's too harsh for me.

I like the BioSilk Silk Therapy Smoothing Balm for reasons other than it's great smell and cost. It really does a great job at keeping your hair soft, silky, manageable and with less frizz. There are more than a few great ingredients in the product as well. That's why I feel it is true quality and it works great.
