I started using this after a hairdressers recommended for me. It works wonders keeping your hair straight and non frizzy after straigtening it. The only thing i Don't like about it is if I use it when its humid outside it acually makes my hair frizzier which acually makes sense considering this is a liquid

I have thick, frizzy, wavy hair if i let it air dry. But, if I straighten it my hair gets poofy, dry, and dull. Biosilk's Silk therapy adds shine and smoothes out all the rough edges and you only need a few drops to do the job.SO instead of buying thermasilk or loreal smoothing cream and have to use 1/4 of the bottle to make the shine and smootheness last, it is so much easier and in the long run affordable to buy one container of silk therapy than multiple tubes of other brands every few weeks.
Great!

This product has to be the product I ever used for my dry and damaged hair. I've used other products such as sebatian and frizz ease and this the only product that doesn't leave my hair looking all greasy. I hate the greasy look! If you hate the "greasy" look also then this is the right product for you to :).... This product well deserved "1000 points" from my end! :)
There's better....

I have thick, coarse staight hair. If I let it air dry, it waves slightly and straightens smooth with a blow dryer. I thought BioSilk would smooth it out, make it look a bit shinier and sleeker when I blow dried it, but it just looked...the same, but felt more coarse. Also, if you put too much in, it comes out greasy looking and almost sticky. Needless to say, money down the drain. I've tried BioSilk, Bed Head, Frizz Ease, Got2B, and even oils in the ethnic hair section. The best thing I've found out there came in a sample I got from buying the shampoo.
ThermaSilks Smooth and Straight Leave In Cream. Not even kidding. You can buy it at CVS, I put it in my hair this morning, let it air dry, and my hair looks and feels like I ran a hot iron through it. I'm absolutely amazed and will be buying a bottle tomorrow. Obviously, if your hair is kinky/curly this won't work, but for those with thick, coarse, slightly wavy hair, you might as well throw your hot irons away. I'm in awe.
Love this product!

This stuff if perfect for making my hair look healthy and shiny after a round of straightening. I've been putting a small amount between my palms, rubbing them together, and then smoothing them over my hair from top to bottom. I'm also noticing reduced frizz throughout the day.
I’d definitely recommend it.

My hair is very fine, and I found this product to be a little heavy for me. I prefer the Sedu flat iron protective cream. Also, I'm a little confused about this product. Does it just help make your hair straighter, or does it protect from the heat also? The bottle says nothing about protecting from heat damage, which is another reason I prefer the Sedu cream.

i've been using biosilk for years....occasionally. my sister-in-law is a hairsylist so i get it at wholesale price. the other reviewer was right... it WILL dry out ur hair in the long run. if u use it occasionally, its fine, but i'd recommend u to use a good conditioner if ur hair is extremely frizzy, or at least get it relaxed.
Really Helps!

I was so excited to recieve my BioSilk in the mail. I'd read such great reviews about it, I was sure it would do wonders for my dry, frizzy, and curly hair. Well, I was very disappointed. After I washed my hair, I sprayed in my Tresemme leave-in conditioner in my hair. This is a must because without it my hair is just a huge tangle. So anyway, after the leave-in conditioner, I put the BioSilk all through my hair. It did have a good smell, but it took way more to cover all of my barely-past-the-shoulders hair than it was supossed to. Then, I let my hair air-dry, just like I always do. By the time my hair was dry, it was horribly frizzy and looked more dryed out then if I had used nothing in my hair. But still, I decided to use my Solia straightener and see what happened. Well, the finishing results were only so-so. The body of my hair was silky and shiny but I still had lots of fly-aways at the part of my hair. Also, it made the ends of my hair look completely fried. Bad deal. So I tried the BioSilk about two more times, just to see if my results may improve. But no such luck. This BioSilk makes my hair look pretty dry. Also, it allows my hair to kink back up at the first drop of rain. I decided to stick with my $8.00 bottle of Frizz Ease. Not only does it make my hair look soft when it's been air dryed, but it keeps it straight through almost any weather. All in all, BioSilk smells good and does add a small amount of shine, but it's too expensive and I get much better results from my Frizz Ease.

Biosilk Silk therapy has saved my hair. Every single stylist I've gone to has recommended using it, and some have gone as far to say "NEVER straighten my hair without using silk therapy". It always leaves my hair silky smooth and healthy looking. I use it everytime I wash or style my hair, I can't live with out it. Everyone needs biosilk!!!
Bio Silk- Great Stuff

I enjoy using Biosilk because it formula is light enough that is does not flatten my hair, which is fine. It also achieves that silky look when I use a flat iron or want to schrunch it. Moisturizes and strengthens the hair. Using small amounts qualify the price.
I LOVE this stuff!!!

I can't believe it took me so long to finally try this stuff! I have long (down to my booty), layered, thick, frizz-prone, color-treated hair. Biosilk made my hair soft as silk, which NEVER happens. I use a quarter-size amount twice a day on my ends and it really doesn't seem to weigh it down. If you have hair like mine, you really need to try this! It's a MIRACLE product!!
oh yes

It's truly an amazing hair serum. BUY IT!!! Use it on wet hair after the shower, or a little after u straightened you hair or anytime your hair feels dead and in desperate need of shine. It's worth it.
Bio Silk has alcohol in it

Many people use bio silk...but just a little advice to you bio silk has alcohol in it so that when you put it on your hair it dries it out. If you use this product before flat ironing your hair that is even worse. If you want to use something on you hair before you flat iron it use chi silk infusion. This product is great and for you people out there that think that bio silk smells so good wait till you try Chi it smells better than bio silk. Bio silk has damaged alot of peoples hair including many of my clients. Try Chi Silk Infusion instead.
The BEST scent plus it works too!

I can't believe what an EXCELLENT product this is! A little goes a long way, so it is definately worth the price. I am African Canadian, and when I used this before I flat ironed my hair, I was amazed. My natural hair is very coarse and kinky, and I never believed that my it could ever feel so silky!! It makes my hair feel so healthy too. I've shared this with my friends and family and now they are going to purchase it as well
