I am Caucasion/African American and my hair is very difficult to tame. It's very kinky curly and is medium length. I usually flat iron my hair once a week and boy have I gone through a lot of products.
Grease was awful to use, never try it.
My hair stylist gave me this product about six months ago after using on my hair (of course her flat iron works amazingly on my hair, it's a Global Beauty). I have a cheap, $40 flat iron from Sally's at the moment until my Solia arrives (can't wait!). Anyways, I blow dry my hair before straightening it, and man is it huge and poofy. After that's done I apply a small amount of BioSilk Silk Therapy and instantly my hair will drop down in size, and then again after running my flat iron through it. It leaves my hair feeling very soft and silky and helps reduce my frizz.
Now, my current flat iron is terrible and with this product it makes my hair look half decent. Hopefully with the Solia it will make it look as if I just got done at my hair stylist.
This product is amazing, I reccomened it for anyone needing a product to use while straightening their hair to reduce frizz and poofiness.

I love this product! It work wonders on my hair. It brings back life to dead dry hair!! When I flip my hair it hold the look and keeps my curls in all day. It doesn't weight your hair down.Very light and nongreasy!! This is a good product for all type of hair. Yes! sisthas it really works!! Great stuff!!! It's worth every last penny!!!

This product was used on my hair by a beautician in Washington, D.C. when I was there on a business trip with my husband. It not only makes your hair feel like silk, but your hair shines like it has never shined before. And since you only use a drop of the product, it lasts and lasts and lasts. Great, Great product!!!!

This product is Greaaaaaaaaaaat! My hair has not look this healthy in many years. I get alot of compliments of how healthy and shiny my hair looks and feels. I only need to use two drops of the silk therapy since I have short hair. I use the shampoo, conditioner & the silk therapy, I love all your products.

BioSilk Silk Therapy works great on coarse, wavy and curly hair that frizzes. I used it on my hair, and on my very curly haired daughter's, and our hair looks and smells great. Be cautious with how much you use or your hair will look oily! Check Costco if you're a member...I bought the 5 ounce size for just over $10!

I got it for my 7 year old daughter. She has very fine hair and it tangles very easily but Biosilk has made a big difference and she can comb her hair by herself with it. It works better when applied on wet hair after a bath and blow dry hair. It gives a nice silky look and easy to comb and it stays tangle free. When appied on dry hair it gives a oily look.

Tried this product after getting new flat iron (never used one before). Works great for curly hair and flat iron, doesn't leave hair greasy if you only use a little bit.

I had used this product before from friends, but never purchased it myself. I don't like using hair products too often because the residue they leave behind, but Biosilk doesn't leave a noticeable residue, at least not with the mimimal amount I use after each washing. My hair is black, extremely thick, layered, and full of flyaways, but Biosilk reduces the frizz and leaves it very shiny and silky.

this stuff is amazing. my hair isn't breaking off anymore when i use this stuff while curling my hair or straightening it. i told my hair stylist about it and she's going to get some more for her and for her salon.

BioSilk Silk Therapy is the best product EVER for dry, coarse, color treated, damaged hair. HECK, It's great for EVERY HAIR TYPE!! It makes your hair shiny, soft and it smells AMAZING. I like to use it on dry hair right before I use my flat iron.

I read the reviews on this website and couldn't wait to go out and buy this stuff. I must say that I was disappointed in the results. It didn't smell as wonderful as everyone claimed, and it definitely didn't make my hair shiney. The only good things I can say about it is that it didn't weigh my hair down and it did make my hair soft. I wouldn't recommend it if your looking for shiney hair.

My stylist introduced BioSilk to me, and I'm quite pleased. I have extremely thick/wavy/frizzy hair that is anything but manageable. I use this product when my hair is still wet, then I dry & straighten. The BioSilk keeps my hair from being damaged and helps the smoothing process. However, if you have hair like mine, don't expect your hair to be smooth and fantastic if you let it air-dry. You gotta do a little work (but the same goes for basically all products). Also-- use Frederic Fekkai's Glossing Cream for after your hair is dry and styled. It's a great finishing touch.

I recently moved from GA to TN and I went from no chlorine(water filter)to lots of chlorine in the water. My hair and skin were affected deeply. My hair stylist in GA recommended it for my hair. I love it for my hair and I use most of it on my skin. It feels great and is not oily. I am looking forward to the summer and no dry skin.
