First off..i torture my hair...i color it, and heat style it often!I always read reviews about girls who have thick frizzy curly hair...but mine is super thin strands(but TONS of it) wavy and frizzy. This is the best product ive tried so far. Ive used bumble and bumble, paul mitchell, redken, and many many others. Bio silk leaves my hair so soft and managable. I use it as a leave in conditioner every day! If you have hair like mine that tends to frizz no matter what there is also a lightweight finishing balm by Pureology called Nanoworks Shineluxe...its is a shimmering violet in color and smells faintly of roses...it makes every hair color shimmer and look celeb worthy!!! I promise it is worth every penny. they dont have it on folica yet though...so sad...

I was introduced to Silk Therapy by my salon and bought it becuase it's made Farouk, who also make the Chi straightener which is the straightener I have. At first I really loved the product, but then I started to notice that I had lots of split ends ... I know some say that there isn't much alcohol and that it doesn't even touch your hair, but if you are a swimmer (like I am) and you straighten your hair every day (like I do) then it's not the best product. My hair is completely un-dyed right now (I've grown all the colour out) and I just find that this product isn't the best: it definitely had a tendency to dry my hair out. However, if you don't straighten every day it would probably work pretty well.

After I turned 45, I had to start dying my hair. Hello gray! I noticed that after dying my hair, it started completely drying out, losing elasticity, breaking and getting much thinner.
I switched from product to product to product. I have always used professional products since my Mom is a beautician. What worked before I dyed my hair, I found out, was not producing the results. My hair has always been very healthy. Extremely healthy.
One of my girlfriends recommended that I use Biosilk to try and combat the dryness and breaking.
Wow! What a difference. I use this product after my hair naturally dries. I start at the ends, about a dime size, and "pat" the ends of my hair. After that, I put about a quarter size drop in and work it up. Brushing my hair with a boars hair brush after I have applied the Biosilk to distribute it evenly. I don't need it on my scalp. I leave this in for a couple of days. It absorbs and does not leave my hair greasy.
I have never had a problem with my hair not shining but I have noticed that since using it, my hair combs out much easier, therefore, not as much breakage has occurred.
My hair is much softer and a lot less dry. I live in a valley in California where we have very little humidity and a lot of air pollution. Fortunately, our water is not that hard. Pollution and low humidity are rough on your hair. I also use a filter on my shower to try and elminate most of the chlorine.
I have noted on this website that most woman that are using this product are using heating tools and trying to eliminate frizzies, with great results I might add.
I am writing this to let other women who have straight long hair know that this also works great on our hair. I was thinking about cutting my hair shorter because of the damage. Now I don't have to.
I have only used this product for 2 months so, thus far, I have not had my hair dry out using this product. There is such a thing as over-conditioning your hair, which will cause dryness. Any conditioner will do that.
I am not worried, like a lot of consumers, about the alcohol in the product. Most hair products contain small amounts of alcohol.
I have even used this product on my boyfriend, who also has long hair, not my length, but sholder length, with great results. He likes it very much.
I highly recommend Biosilk Silk Therapy for all types of hair.

I have thick, wavy, and frizzy hair so I straighten it almost daily. But I noticed my hair becoming slightly fragile and some split-ends occuring so I immediately stopped straightening it until I found biosilk. It protected my hair from the heat damage of the flat iron and split-ends and not to mention it makes it silky soft with no frizz. i'm very satisfied with it my hair has never looked healthier. To have healthy hair I reccomend;
1. Using Biosilk Shampoo & Conditioner
2. Applying Biosilk Silk Therapy to damp hair
3.(If Styling)Using Corioliss Pro Straightner/Curler
4. Adding a very small amount of Biosilk Silk Therapy after styling to eliminate frizz & add additional shine
*I also want to add; After your done straightening/curling while your hair is still hot use a hairdryer with the cool-air feature to gentley cool your hair off because when its still hot it can easily get a wave or crease.

I have been using this product for over a year now and it has tamed my naturally wavy (and somewhat frizzy) locks...keeps the frizz down, smooths out the kinkier waves and gives my hair a beautiful shine. I have some dryness and damage but I don't want to cut it so I dry it naturally, apply the product about three inches from the scalp and then curl or iron with gorgous results.

I'm a guy with short wavy (It's not too curly, but there are waves) hair. It is ugly. I have frizzy, dry hair. I shampoo every other day (Shampooing every day is not good for your hair) and condition it every day. It feels all smooth and silky when I'm still in the shower, but once I step out and towel-dry my hair for a bit, it's back to frizzy and dry.
After a while my sister got some BioSilk and only uses it when she straightens her hair (Her hair is also somewhat wavy). So I got a drop of BioSilk and rubbed it through my hair.
After that I tried straightened my hair. Usually when I straighten my hair it leaves this burning ceramic smell that smells foul and nauseating. But I put on some BioSilk and the scent covered the burning smell.
My hair is currently smooth and not as dry and frizzy now.
Great results, I recommend this product.

When my hair was in it's worst condition i found this REALLY helped!
I've also used this on human hair extensions and it gives them a great natural gloss.

I used a lot of different kinds of serums beacuse my hair is thin and it tangles, looses shape and "freezes" really quickly. This is the first product so far that did not weight my hair down - very essential for my thin hair so it would not look greasy and dirty. And i loooove the smell! :) Also, even when applied on palms and rubbed on the hair, nothing stays on my hands - before i had to wash them and wipe them with tissue cause my hands were so greasy from the serums i used. I am using Silk Therapy with flat iron and results are just amazing - the hair is not greasy and smells really good! I do not find the cost to be excessive - you basically need only pea-sized amount for the whole head and even small-sized bottle will last you forever. But the quality so much better than others :)

i have been using this product for more over 2 years! this is the best ever!i love it
it makes my hair SOFT, SMOOTH, NOT FRIZZY, makes my SPLIT ENDS HEALTHY! and its great in humidity!
i strayed away from biosilk for a while and tried other things because i didnt have much money to buy biosilk
and with the other products i noticed my haid was disgusting! lol it was just frizzy and oily.
trust me please! when i say buy biosilk!! it is the only silk therapy i trust on my hair!

I've used a few other brands (Paul Mitchell, John Freida, Silk Elements, Joico), but I still keep coming back to BioSilk. I love how it feels & smells, and it makes my hair really soft & healthy-looking, not weighed down. I have yet to try Chi Silk Fusion, so we'll see... but so far BioSilk gets my vote everytime!

I just used this product a few minutes ago and I am NOT IMPRESSED!!! From reading all the reviews I thought it was going to make my hair even more silky, shiny and straight after flat ironing. The only thing I like about this product is that it smells good. I wish I would've kept my $13 for a 2.26 fl. oz bottle in my pocket. I'll just stick to my regular oil treatments and heat protectant. The oil treatments work a lot better.

I work at a salon and there are so many similar products to this. I assure you this is the best. Protects hair, makes it feel AMAZING, so soft and shiny. Does not make hair greasy very lightweight. You do not need a lot of this product either to make an impact. Less is more. Worth it. Also not as costly as some other brands such as Unite. Works the same if not better. Highly recommended, using it since 15, now 20.

I am a dark brunette who has been putting platinum highlights in my hair for almost a year (I was almost a complete blonde before adding in lowlights recently. Add in flat iron and blow dryer and you have straw... I was at my wits end and about to dye it back and cut it off...
I bought this from my local beauty supply, and was a bit put off by the cost, but the clerk totally recommended it. I bought the cure with free shampoo and conditioner, and let me tell you, it works wonders!
Because of all the damage I do to my hair, I don't wash it every day. In the past, I would have to re-iron the whole head every morning.(I would have a dry frizzy mess every morning) My hair is so improved, I just have to touch it up a bit, so not only has it improved the appearance, it has reduced further damage. Also, all the past products I have used built up, so my hair would be totally weighed down. This stuff feels clean and fresh! I love the smell, but can't figure out what it reminds me of.
I use the shampoo and conditioner as well, because I am afraid the spell will be broken if I stop.
I put this in my daughters curly hair and it detangles it beautifully and gives it beautiful ringlets.
I have the 12 oz. bottle and I anticipate it will last at least 6 mos. (Although I use it on my sensitive skin out of the shower, and it has done wonders, so I may be buying more sooner.)
