| Should I buy?
I've had highlights before, and my hair broke off but I had never colored my hair before and didn't understand that you need to deep condition your hair every time. That said, I'm nervous about coloring my hair, wanted to use this product b/c I hear it doesn't use the same harsh chemicals as other hair dyes. I want to go from off black to a honey blonde, I don't have a relaxer, would you recommend? It will last about 4 weeks. If you have presence of new growth, you may want to touch it up.

I noticed that Xpressive does not need peroxide or a booster. What is the active ingredient that causes the lift and is is safe for individuals who are experiencing hair loss due to traction alopecia? Yes. When you mix the powder with water, ammonia and hydrogen peroxide are derived.
