Most flat irons require creativity for straightening short hair. This one is superb, very HOT, small for home, travel, even throwing it in your bag. Yes, be careful when putting it close to your scalp or face, it is hot, but quick. I am very pleased with it.

The arms are metal and conduct the heat from plates thus burning your scalp when starting at the roots.
