How to Curl Your Hair: - Place ends of hair on roller and wind toward scalp. Roll
up hair firmly, and secure clip, crossing it over the roller. Do not place
clip in roller slit.
- The firmness of the curl is regulated by the
temperature, the diameter of the rollers, and the length of time the roller is
left on your hair.
- For tight, firm curls, leave rollers in your hair for at
least 10 minutes before removing. For soft, wavy curls, the rollers should be
removed from the hair after a shorter period of time.
- Removing the roller: hold roller in one hand while
removing clips with the other. Gently drop roller (DO NOT PULL) and let curl
bounce back after roller have been completely removed. Let cool for one minute
for a firmly set curls, and then style your hair into a look that lasts for
hours!
- Hair should be clean and dry or slightly damp – NEVER
WET – when setting.

I expected more, but got much less. The product is okay, but the curlers did not get as hot as I need and expected.

This review is from my babysitter who is 19. Her boyfriend comes over when she is sitting for Courtney our daughter. His hair is really long and thick , she talked him into letting her set his hair with my bay bliss hot curlers. I got to see his curls when we got home and they were awesome , lots of curls every where. After talking to him , he said he would like wearing curls more often, and our sitter said she would be glad to start curling his hair daily since they heat up so fast and she could do his hair very quickly. When i got these i used them and Loved the results... with a little bit of hairspray, they stayed in ALLL day and i don't even use a lot of hairspray. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.
The Facts- One of The Few Pro Setters you Can Buy

I felt compelled to write this review because of all the misconceptions I'm reading about this setter. While it's not my favorite setter it's definitely in the top 5. The new ceramic version is much quicker to heat than the older version which has probably been discontinued or will be shortly. The ceramic injected rollers give a slightly stronger curl than the older model.
Pro series tools are not the same as retail tools and it's difficult to judge them in the same vein as many are doing here. Pro tools are often not meant to appeal to the average home user wanting a quick curl and nothing more, but instead a salon environment where it will be running most of the day and must deliver constant, evenly distributed results without damaging the hair.
The setter was intentionally engineered so that the roller did not burn your fingers making it easier to handle. The older wax type of hair setter your mother or grandmother may have used may have gotten much hotter, but it's outdated technology, and incredibly damaging to the hair. This pro set can deliver similar results with less damage and it's also user friendly, meant to be used all day long. Too many reviewers automatically assume hot burning heat = lasting curl. But that's a thing of the past. The first thing you'll notice with this ceramic set is that you can touch the sides of the roller even though it's been turned on for hours and they will not burn your hands. Yet they give a solid lasting curl though the roller itself did not feel like it was burning hot. Retail rollers are not so. Either they don't get hot enough or they are too hot and damage your hair. The Babyliss Ceramic gives a professional grade strong curl, without the damage a retail setter will give.
That said, this set still might not be for you, it's quite pricey and it takes longer to heat up than regular retail setters. Again that is because this setter was engineered to reach a certain heat and maintain that heat for all day long usage. Your retail setters were meant to be used a couple hours at a time using jolts of unregulated heat. That's not exactly something a home user would much care about, the home user probably wants to do 1 set per day at the most and this unit is pretty pricey for someone who plans to use it occasionally.
Hope this clarifies some of your questions and explains some of the mixed reviews you are seeing about this fabulous but misunderstood setter.
Pretty Good!!

I use to use these hot rollers at my previous location, Markley Salon. We use to do many updos for weddings. They heat up in less than 5 min. They get very hot. I would recommend these.
