My hair gets dried quick and I love the multiple settings and by the way if you need a diffuser with this blow dryer "The Director" styling finger diffuser works with it, it just requires a little more pushing than average.
Truly the best kept secret !!!!

I LOVE THIS BLOW DRYER!!!! If you have hair like me thick and extremely curly this is the blow dryer for you. The blow dryer gets really hot but as long as you know how to use it then it will be your best friend. When I say know how to us it I mean you need to put good products in your hair so you dont dry out your hair. The medium setting on this blow dryer is enough to blow out my hair could you imagine what the high setting will do. I absolutley love this blow dryer...I dont think I can sell it anymore and the only reason I am doing it is because of what my hair looks like when I am done. I have really difficult hair and when you find something like this you have to let people who have hair like me know.

Two weeks ago I sat down to buy a new hairdryer. I have always gotten the 20 dollar Target jobbies and since I spent a buck or two more for the ionic I figured that was the best result you could get. Yes, I noticed that when my hairdresser styled my hair it always looked better, but I just assumed it was because she knew how to use a dryer. Well duhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
I started looking at the higher priced dryers, and the comments made about them. Whats this, your hair looks better??? Really???? So I went through the dryers and looked at all of the reviews and decided on this one.
I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this dryer!!!! At night when I look in the mirror my hair STILL looks great!!! I've told several of my friends about this dryer, they didn't know you could get such results by just buying a professional dryer!
I think if you buy this dryer you will be very happy with it's performance!

I have spent $$ on hair dryers before thinking I would have great hair after using them, but I never got the kind of results I am getting with using this hair dryer.
My hair is very fine and wavy, so if I dont blow dry it, it will look frizzy and messy. I live in Miami, so it is always humid. With this blow dryer, it takes about 6-8 minutes to dry my hair which is just past my shoulders. The results are awesome! The 1st time I used it my husband came home and said my hair looked nice!! He didnt know I bought a new hair dryer. It is so nice that my daughter borrows it now instead of ironing her hair. Im glad I found this site so I could research first.

Very Good for Long Hair

I've had this dryer for about two years, and i think it is worth the price. i have very long hair, and it doesn't take nearly as long as when i used to own a cheapie conair blowdryer. the length of my hair reaches my belly button, and it takes about 20 minutes to fully dry my hair with the babyliss, which is pretty decent, and the ending result is shiny and SOFT. i'm always impressed with the results. if anything i'll always use this because of how soft it makes your hair feel. it's actually amazing.
Worth every penny!

I've only owned retail quality dryers before and am thoroughly impressed with the results I get from this BaByliss Pro hair dryer.
I purchased it from this website approximately a year ago and wanted to use it for some length of time before I gave it a review. I could not be happier, it dries my hair in 1/2 the time my previous dryer did and usually a yr later I'm in the market for a new one. The BaByliss is still going strong and as good as the day I bought it. I love the 3 speed and temp. settings. Also a big plus for a pro quality dryer without the bulkiness or weight. I especially like that it has a directional nozzle to help get that straight and sleek shine you get at the salon.
The $68 price is $30 less then when I bought it but I'm still very happy with my purchase. If I ever had to buy another dry I would absolutely repurchase.

I bought this hairdryer in November 2005. It is now July 2006 and the heating element already went out. It only lasted 8 months!!!! My conair dryer I bought from a local drugstore lasted 5 years. In my opinion, this dryer was a bit expensive to last such a short time. (By the way, I bought it when it was 95.95) Think twice before purchasing!!
Too Hot

This dryer has 2 heat seatings which are high & low. The high is painfully hot and the low is not hot enough to get the job done quickly. I returned it.
Hardly need a flat iron after drying!

This is a great dryer. It is powerful and get's the job done quickly! I used to have to use a dryer + flat iron but now I can get away with using only the dryer. If I want it REALLY straight I use the flat iron too. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars: 1) a bit heavier than I like and 2) The buttons are not in the best spot and my fingers hit them while I am drying my hair. I have to hold it differently. But worth it for performance!
No more frizz!

This hair dryer is amazing! I have converted my frizzy, no shape, limp (neither curls nor straight) hair into beautiful hair using this hair dryer, it actually looks better, shinier and less frizzy when I'm done with it than when my hair stylist finishes drying my hair. But, I have to admit, I do use products that help achieve the look (but these same products did not work with my old hair dryer). I've used some hard Curl Gel in spray form and it works like a charm with this dryer and diffuser, beautiful no frizz soft curls and waves. And when I want straight hair, I use one of the straighening serums and voila, beautiful silky, shiny, straight hair. This hair dryer is definitely not cheap compared to Discount - and Drugstores but it's worth every penny. Do get the diffuser along with it though, it's nice to be able to achieve different looks.
As for drying time, I wouldn't say it's superfast but then I do use the lower speed, I have very fine hair and it probably takes me 15 - 20 minutes drying it all the way but it looks so much better than letting it air dry. Before this hair dryer, 15 - 20 minutes blow-drying only achieved a huge frizz head (even with products).
Definitely a thumbs up dryer!!!!

This is a phenomenal hair dryer that leaves your hair soft and silky. It dries quickly and evenly. I bought one for myself a year ago, and then my sister used and commented on how great it was, so I bought this one for her. After buying at least 15-20 drugstore dryers, I'll never go back and will only use my BaByliss Carrera.
Sending it back!!

When I first got it, it seemed to work wonderfully! I tried using it without any products in my hair, and my hair did seem much silkier... less friz. Then after about 4 or 5 months, I had to add products to de-friz my hair just like before using this hairdryer. Then about 1.5 yrs after getting it, sparks flew out of it, and it no longer heats up!
It is very heavy!!
I don't recommend it!
Buttons are a little awkward, but I love it anyway!

When deciding which dryer to buy, I read lots of reviews first. I read that this dryer was good, but was heavy and had odd positioning of the buttons. I decided to go for it anyway, and I'm really glad I did. The cold air flow button is a little awkward, as it is positioned right about where my thumb is on the handle. I have already gotten used to it in the last few weeks and hardly notice it. As far as weight...I don't notice. The other dryers I have had may have been lighter, but for this price range, I haven't found anything better!

After 20 years of conair, panasonic, etc., this hairdryer is like handling silk scarfs. Really comfortable and dries my very thick, curly hair fast. I have the defuser which really keeps the frizz down. Very happy with both products.

This product was supposed to dry my hair faster and leave it smoother than a regular dryer. In fact there was no difference in either respect and it was much heavier, making the length of time it took to dry and set my hair section by section a very tiresome chore.
Amazing...while it lasts

This hair dryer did everything I expected-it dried my hair superfast, but left it softer and shinier than any other hair dryer I've had. It was amazing! But I've had it for less than a year and I turned it on the other day and, as some other people have mentioned, it sort of blew up. Sparks started flying out of it and it never worked again. I feel like this is a lot of money to be spending on a hair dryer that breaks so quickly.
Mine quit working on hot setting!!!

I love this dryer when I first got it (only 3 months ago),but last night while drying my hair it must have over heated and just shut off. After a while, it started to work, but now everytime I put it on hot, it cuts off. Definitely sending it back!!!
