This is the best blow dryer I have ever purchased. Drys my hair fast without any frizz. It's very quiet! It's a little heavier than my previous dryer but after using it for a week I completely adjusted to it. Love love love it!

I've had this dryer for 5 years and its amazing!!!! I could never blow dry my hair before..... I had to pay 30 dollars everytime i need to do my hair....Now im always doing my hair it comes out great plus saving 30 dollars!!!! Its light weight,easy to handle....You should def. get this product!

I have only ever used drug store brand dryers and always thought that the straightener I had was way more important than a blowdryer for my long, thick curly hair. I was wrong. When my hairstylist was able to make my hair look smooth, frizz free, and feel soft with this dryer and no flat iron I was sold. After having it in the house with my three other girl roomates this is our conclusion: If you have think hair that takes a while to dry, this is the dryer for you. The two girls with thin hair were bothered by how hot it got, and didnt need the heat in order to straighten their hair. My other roomate and I on the other had have fallen head over heels in love with it. It cuts my drying time from nearly 20 mins down to under 10. BEST PURCHASE EVER.
I have to agree that while the buttons are useful and the heat settings are fabulous, sometimes with the placement of the buttons my hand will slip over to the cool button or switch the dryer to warm. Definatly not a big deal, after one use you figure out where to put your hand and you notice right away when the dryer isnt as hot.

This hair dryer is one of the hottest I have ever tried. I have really thick hair that takes a long time to dry and this one does it in minutes. Love that. It has two speed settings also, on high it blows very hard. Low is comparable to the Chi's regular speed. Button placement is pain as it is very easy to accidentally change the settings or squeeze the cool button. It is hard to grip with out your hands on the buttons. It is also pretty heavy. 3 lbs doesn't sound like much until your arm is the hair moving it around for consecutive minutes. I have a Chi also, and it is very light, the difference is significant. When the hair dryer is set to high you must be very careful to keep it moving. It is very easy to burn your scalp even from 4-6 inches away, it is that hot. With all that said, I still gave my daughter the chi and kept the baby bliss because of how quickly it dries my hair.

I purchased this hair dryer for $90 about a year ago at a beauty supply store in my area. It worked perfectly for about 6 months and then started to run extremely HOT! I sent the dryer back to the manufacturer and they send me a "refurbished" dryer. The replacement lasted 2 months and then died on me. Perhaps I just received 2 bad dryers..but I will not purchase a BabylissPro Carrera dryer again!

I use this dryer every day with the diffuser for curly hair and it works so fast and my hair doesn't frizz. It does get really hot, so I switch to warm after a little while on hot.

This Hair dryer is phenomenal. My hair is curly and I've used professional hair dryers before, but nothing compares to this one. My hair doesn't frizz at all, believe youll love it. Is worth the price!

This is the blow dryer I've been looking for since my old Italian number died out. I then bought a Super Solano and suffered months of bad hair days but put up with it because I spent so much money on it. But I decided to try this based on the price and all the phenomenal reviews it received. And I have to say everybody was right.
If you have course, wavy, thick hair like me, this is the dryer to get. The key is the heat, if the dryer doesn't put out enough heat, your hair never gets silky straight and you end up with puffy, frizzy hair. Previous reviews said it got hot and I bought it on that basis. For the first time in months, I did not need to use my flat iron in conjunction with the dryer! This dryer got my hair silky straight and flat on its own. I was considering the CHI, but it was so expensive. This dryer does the job for half the price. My only concern is the longevity of the dryer, so I'm crossing my fingers on that.
Thank you Folica for this forum and for your great return policy which made me take a chance on this dryer. I will never purchase another blow dryer from a beauty supply store (because your stuck with the dryer if you don't like it, like the Super Solono I'm stuck with).

I bought this because I was tired of the cheap ones breaking after a year or so. I am quite pleased with this one: it fits nicely in the hand and isn't heavy, it's fairly quiet, it doesn't get too hot to hold and dries the hair quickly.

I purchased this model in hopes that it would treat my hair better. I also found myself buying a new hair dryer from a drug store or Wal-Mart every three months--they would just burn out. I have been extremely pleased with this new model. My hair is smoother and isn't really frizzy anymore; it just looks healthier. As a side note, I do not find the weight of the dryer to be a problem as it is for some people. Best 60 bucks I've spent in a while!!

I have long asian hair and it dries my hair in 5 minutes. It makes my hair feel extra soft. It's heavier than other hair dryers, so it'll take awhile to get use to. I've had this hair dryer since Dec 2006 and I've had no problems with it. Great choice if you don't want to spend too much on a ceramic ionic hair dryer.

It's a good hair dryer! A little heavier than the others, but certainly very powerful! The low speed is like the high on other regular dryer, it saves some time. Makes hair pretty smooth, but not as shiny as I expected.

The on/off switches and the cold/warm/hot switches are not in a good spot. It's exactly where you hold and as you blow drying your hair, you either change the temperature of the air or shut it off. It's not as powerful as it says. I would rate it OK. Good thing it's at a decent price so I won't feel bad buying another one within a year.
