I just recieved my BaByliss Thermal Ionic Hair Dryer yesterday and already I love it! It is so powerful it dries my hair in minutes! My hair feels softer and more managable with out the frizziness. I definatly recommend this product!!!!!

Using this blowdryer was like taking my hair back in time to childhood shine and softness before I started coloring on a monthly basis to cover gray. The latest issue I was having was that no matter what I did I always had this layer of hair that was frizzy looking. My hairdresser, who I have known since childhood, told me that it was my course gray hair that was doing this even though it was colored and that I should try hot ironing it. Well, my hair is dry and damaged enough without adding hot ironing to it. I tried that for a while counteracting it with monthly mineral oil treatments but it was damaging and took up to much time. I'm a single mom working full time. I just can't mess with my hair for hours every day like that. I read all the reviews on this Babyliss blowdryer, decided I'd give it a try and I am so glad I did. My hair hasn't felt or looked this good in YEARS. I don't even use any product in my hair. It has shine, volume, it moves around freely. Even my man has noticed.....

People keep asking me what I did to my hair to make it look so great - and when I say "I got a new hairdryer" they always do a double take because they expect me to say "I got a new hairdresser." And I always assumed my hairdresser just knew how to blowdry hair better than I did - well now I realize it's cause she has a great hairdryer. It works esp. great in humid weather. I live on the East Coast and summers here are humid. This is the first summer that my hair hasn't been in a ponytail for 3 months straight. I highly recommend it. Worth every penny.

I have very thick, long, coarse straighy hair. I could never believe in my wildest dreams that a blow dryer could make my hair sooo soft & dry it so quickly. I owned a Conair 1800 for about 5 years & while it works fine, I would still have to flat iron because my hair would dry, but be frizzy. I bought a Chi flat iron, to fix that problem, but kept hearing how a good blow dryer would do the trick, too. What a difference!! I don't even have the need to flat iron, anymore. It used to take me 45 minutes to an hour to blow dry & then another 15-20 minutes to flat iron. Now it takes me half an hour to blow dry & flat iron! (I'm not exaggerating) So, I'm amazed. It's not any heavier than my last dryer, so I'm not bothered by the weight. I highly recommend this product! Thanks reviewers for helping find this treasure!

I was a little skeptical when I read all the great reviews on this hair dryer. I wondered if they were written by BaByliss sales reps or something. But I decided to buy the dryer anyway (about 2 mos. ago), and now I can say that this dryer lives up to the hype and deserves its rave reviews. It's hands down the best dryer I've ever owned. Great air flow and I like the cold air setting (which isn't a cheap annoying hold-down button like most models). Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

Is pretty safe to use because is not as hot. It keeps hair looking thick. It does not damage the hair if kept on long. Ans is not as noisy.

I love this dryer. It makes my hair feel great and never dries it out. I have kinky hair that is dry by nature and this dryer didn't dry it at all I would recommend it to anyone.

I just received this hair dryer... and this is the best hair dryer ever... I just used it and have salon straight soft hair... and it lasts all day long.. even with it being 100 degrees and very humid outside... I can't say enough good things about this dryer and also the website I bought it from... I ordered it yesterday and it was in my hands by noon today... Great customer service... If you are in the market for a great hairdryer - give this a try... it will be money very well spent...

Based on the other online reviews of this product, I expected that it would dry my hair faster and produce a smoother result. I was right. I am able to dry my hair in about half the time as my old Conair dryer and my hair appears to have much fewer "flyaways". I'm very satisfied with this product.

When I first got this dryer, I thought it was heaven-sent. However, that feeling quickly left me, seeing as it broke within 5 days!!!
I couldn't be more upset that I found the world's best hair dryer -- but it just doesn't work...
so the whole thing turned out to be a huge pain: ordering the dryer, waiting for it to come in, now it doesn't work and I have to wrap it up, have it shipped back, and wait for them to either fix it or send a new one. WHAT A PAIN!

It works great, it make my hair shiny, feel soft, and it dries my hair in 3 minutes....honestly....I timed it. It styles my hair in minutes as well because it heats up fast. However, it's heavy....that is my only complain.

I have thick, uncontrollable curly hair. This blow dryer straightens my hair stick straight and makes my hair controllable. It works very well. I have tried many high-end expensive blowdryers, adn this by far is my favorite.

Drying time is definitely much better but the narrow attachment does not stay on which is pretty annoying. It also causes the need for a flat iron to further straighten after the drying time.
Overheats on high setting

I really liked this dryer for the first 2 weeks that I had it, but now it overheats and shuts off every time I use it on the high setting. I have to wait for it to cool down before I can turn it back on.

My hair is wavy, and hard to control, especially in humid weather. Babyliss Thermal Ionic Hair Dryer has done an excellent job straightening my hair, which seems to hold throughout most of the day. It is a little heavier than my last dryer (Conair 1875) but it is less noisy. I highly recommend it. I would prefer it to blast the air faster, because that tends to keep my hair straighter, but I can't find a hair dryer, except in Europe, to do that.

I was NOT impressed by this blow dryer. I bought it because I read all this great stuff posted on this site about how it "dries your hair in half the time" and how great it is for your hair. Not only does my hair look flat and dull when I use it, it takes just as long (if not longer) AND the dryer is REALLY HEAVY...cramp in the arm heavy!
I have relatively straight healthy looking hair and it normally takes me about a ten minutes to dry, so maybe this dryer works better on some people than others (curly hair? really thick hair?) but it definitely my hair looking lifeless. I actually used it a bunch of times hoping it would grow on me, but now I'm back to my cheap dryer that establishes greater results.

The dryer heated up great and dried my hair great, but the concentrator would not stay on. Also could not hold from the nozzel, it was too hot.

This blow dryer definitely dries hair quicker than the average blow dryer, and it is heavier than the average blow dryer. But I wouldn't exactly say it makes your hair feel any softer or anything like coming from the salon like all the other reviews rave about. I have straight rather thick hair and for me when I used this, my hair doesn't "frizz" but it still turns out poufy and a not soft texture and still requires straightening for smoothness.
