OK, this hairdryer may not be a Ferrari, but it's certainly a Lexus. Extremely reliable, powerful, fast, high quality and -- why not -- has a beautiful design.

I love this dryer. It has a lot of power. I'm able to dry my (long) hair quickly using it. The ionic technology is great also. I'm seeing little to no damage with daily use.

Please note that this dryer works wonders almost instantly. It leaves the hair shiny and dries your hair very efficiently. It heats up very fast, and changes very curly and frizzy hair into almost "chinese" type hair! I have no regrets, and wish to mention that although someone else alluded to the diffuser falling off all the time, they are correct. However, I used my gluegun to keep it fastened to the nozzel, and it has not fallen since. I am super surprised the glue has not melted, and in fact it is fastened quite permanently. So in essence the glue is proof that the heat emitted from the dryer is not damaging to your hair. I will never go back to a standard dryer.

This dryer has been discontinued?? Oh No! This is horrible news. I have bought 2 of these dryers over the years and they are the best! Does anyone reading this who works at Folica know if you will be offering one of the same value? This is by far the best dryer I have ever used on my hair. It cut the drying time in 1/2. I'm sad to see this has been discontinued as it says on the main page here. Now I will handle mine with gentle care.

WOW!! I am an african american with relaxed mid back length THICK hair and this blow dryer works great!! My hair is straight with body and silky. It straighten my new growth with ease and made my relaxed hair look shiny and healthy. I am considering buying another one..just so I will never be without this amazing tool!!

I have used drug store brand dryers for years - never realized the difference a quality dryer makes. My hair dries in a fraction of the time, lots of shine and body!!

This blow dryer was an average product, it did not change my life but got the job done. After only 2 years the power shorted and now I have to buy a new one. My stylist warned my that BaByliss products didn't last long, I wich I listened to her. I will never buy anything by this brand again.

I really like the blow dryer, the results are the same as going to a salon, except it is free! I have really long hair and with regular dryers it takes me forever to dry my hair, with the babyliss I am literally done within 20 minutes with a beauty salon style!
concentrator nozzle

I thought this dryer would dry my hair faster than my previous dryer but it doesn't even though it is supposed to the most powerful one. I am also disappointed with the heat concentrator nozzle for it keeps moving around while I dry my hair and if I place the dryer on the counter it falls off. Doesn't seem to be too stabel of an accessory.

I only wish I had read all these reviews before purchasing this hairdryer!
After using mine for only 5 months and loving it, the regular setting stopped working. The turbo and cool settings were fine and I continued to use it for a couple weeks. Then, one morning it began smoking, making a popping sound and something exploded inside.
Do not waste your money on this hairdryer. I have had much cheaper hairdryers that have lasted much longer!

I have a lot of thick hair that takes forever to dry. Using a cheap blow dryer just dries it out and it looks like hay or straw. This product really shows a big difference in the texture and drying time of my hair. I actually look forward to blow drying my hair now. Great product! By the way, Folica.com sent it to me in like 3 days! Nice!

This is one of the best purchases I have made recently. It blows my wavy hair completely straight and takes about half the time my old dryer took to dry it. The only complaint I have is that it is heavy and big, so it's not the best for traveling, but at $60, you really can't go wrong.

I purchased this hairdryer about 2 years ago & I too had sparks flying out of the hairdryer & it overheats as well. For the $$ you pay, it should'nt do that. My hairdresser used it so I thought it shoud be great. She uses it several times a day, me I only use it once a day & it's now dead. I just purchased a CHI hairdryer today because I love their straight irons. Hopefully I have better luck this time:)

I bought this dryer from here after reading all the good reviews. It was expensive, but I thought it'd be worth it. It kept cutting out on me, so I returned it and was sent a new one (supposedly). Well, either they sent back the same defective one or this particular dryer is just awful, because the second one shuts off all the time, too. I don't dry my hair for a particularly long time, and don't even use the warmest setting. I've used many different types of top quality and lower end dryers for over 20 years, and have never before had this problem. This dryer is a waste of money.

This hair dryer is extremely heavy, only has a couple of settings and died after 2 years. sparks are shooting out at me. I would avoid it.

i really like this blow dryer. the only problem i have with it is that you hold it right where the buttons are so when you are blow drying your hair, you sometimes turn it off by accident. other than that, it works very well!

OMG I never thought I would find a great dryer like I use to have many years back, but this Babyliss is to dye for. I can turn my head sideways and it blows my hair straight up in the air has great heat too. My hair is just past my shoulders and thick - I hated to dry it with the normal dryers but this one is AWESOME. THANK YOU BABYLISS!! I still cannot believe it.
I counted on the reviews to be correct when I purchased. I was not let down so here is my review TRUST THIS DRYER it is POWERFUL.

I bought this dryer a few years ago and use it daily. I normally had flat, fine hair but with this dryer and a big round brush my hair is full and bouncy. I was just on vacation and used it in the las vegas hotel ( I had to bring it with me even though the room came with one). It kept over-heating and by the end of 6 days it had died. I honestly believe it had something to do with the different electricity than my home. The dryer never over heated at home! So now I'm ordering a new one.
