This dryer is very quiet and is efficient at drying hair. My hair is very thick and it never takes more than an hour. The dryer leaves my hair super soft. It is easy to move around and works with most chairs. I love watching TV while my hair dries...and you can still hear the TV! I would highly recommend the dryer and folica.com!

I really love this hair Dryer. I have thick coarse hair and usually it would take more than an hour to dry my hair at a hair salon. But with BaByliss it took 45 minutes to dry my hair. I don’t have to waist 2 hours at the hair salon because of this dryer. Thank you.

This product works very well. Without the rollers in my hair, it takes me just a few minutes to dry my hair. All it takes is half an hour with the rollers in my hair. This has cut down on the time it takes at the Salon.

I bought the dryer so that it would stand where ever I needed it to, rather than me positioning myself near a table. It works very well. The is the on and off button, and the 3 heat positions - 1 for cool, 2 for warm 3 for very hot (I haven't tried the very hot to see how hot it gets). Postion #2 is perfect for me - I am Black and need enough heat to set my hair, but not so much that my hair would be too dry. I also am comfortable under the machine so I don't mind sitting under it for an hour or longer. The machine blows out a good amount of air as well, so my hair does dry within the hour. My hair is a little longer than shoulder length, and is thick. I have a relaxer, so it's straight. I highly recommend this machine if you have a place to store it. The legs at the bottom are pretty wide, so I suggest you have a good amount of corner space, or a walk-in closet to leave it.
Just not a good fit for me..

I recently purchased the BaByliss Thermal Ionic Hard Hat Dryer with the hopes of shortening the amount I time I needed to dry my hair. I am African American and my hair is below my shoulders and is thick so to really dry my hair I have to sit under the dryer for hours. While I was in New York I went to a salon that used a similar dryer so I went conducted an internet search to find a similar product. I found the dryer on Folica at a very good price and had previously had a very good experience with the company.
The dryer is extremely easy to put together, it took mere minutes. It also gets very hot, which it a good thing as well. And the only reason I returned the dryer is because it didn’t meet my extremely high expectations. I expected to have to sit under the dryer for an hour to an hour and a half, but I sat under the dryer for about two hours and I still wasn’t completely dry. This could be because my hair it thick, the way I rolled my hair, or the type of rollers I used. Either way, I decided to return the dryer because if I am going to have to devote two to two and a half hours to drying my hair, I might as well get a soft cap dryer (which only costs like $45) so that I can lie down and take a nap while I wait.
If your hair is not too thick or you are more patient than I am, I definitely recommend the BaByliss Thermal Ionic Hard Hat Dryer

Overall I would give the dryer 3 stars. I only used it one time and it was easy to put together and it arrived quickly. My only issue is I expeced dryint time to be cut down and it wasn't I was actually under this dryer then dryer cuts down on drying. I was wrong.

Arrived quickly; packed with care. Easy to assemble and the no-nonsense, sleek design makes it convenient for use and storage. I like how evenly it dries my hair. It left it feeling soft and silky as opposed to dry and brittle as with other hard hat dryers. Thought it might be hard to part with my 35 year old Time Machine by Lady Schick -- but after one use of the Babyliss Thermal Hard Hat dryer --I am sold!

I received this dryer in 2 days and tried it out immediately. I highly recommend it for curly hair. It dries so much quicker and more even than any hand blower I have used and leaves the curls in place. It was easy to assemble and I was able to watch TV while under it. Many thanks to the other reviewers and to Folica.

I love my BaByliss Thermal Ionic Hard Hat Dryer. My best friend loves it as well, she wants to come over more often to dry her hair. I can sit at my desk and read, pay bills, or surf the net while I am drying my hair. It also drys fast. It is very efficiant. I love it.

My dryer arrived by UPS the day after I ordered it and works very well. The product is just what I was looking for and the service outstanding. Now I read my email and drink my coffee while drying my hair in the morning....just the thing for a multitasker with long hair!

I work in a small two person salon and don't have the space for a dryer chair. This dryer fits perfectly in a corner out of the way but conveniently rolls to wherever I need it. I love the ionic mode. It brings color up fast which makes it a great time saver. I also love that this dryer was very easy to assemble and was shiped within days.

I've just had a chance to use my new dryer and I absolutely love it! I have really thick coarse shoulder length hair and other hard hat dryers took so long to dry my hair. My roller set hair dried in about 45 minutes. That's a record for me!!

Your hair dryer is wonderful - it arrived in record time, was easy to assemble, and is quiet, efficient, and so easy and comfortable to use. I prefer rollers for my hair style and when my 35+ year-old heavy floor model Ronson died, I was delighted to find your model on the internet. Thanks for offering such a great product. I will save the cost of it in about two months by not going to a beauty shop for shampoo, set and comb-out. I live in a rural area and prefer the convenience of doing my own hair care - thanks again for a super dryer.

I was pleased to receive my BaByliss Thermal Ionic Hard Hat Dryer in 4 days. Assembly was simple and it adjusted to the perfect height. The BaByliss is quiet and the heat settings are just right. I love the way it doesn't dry out my hair, but leaves it soft and manageable.

I enjoy using the Babyliss hard-hat hair dryer. It is quieter than most hair dryers and dries hair quickly. The telescoping stand is great for any height chair and much better than trying to find the right height table and chair for the portable hard hat dryers.

I am very pleased with my BaByliss Thermal Ionic Hard Hat Dryer. I had been using a small portable hard dryer & it held up for 32 years. Imagine that! The plastic finally broke apart one day when I opened it up. I wanted a dryer on a stand but I thought it would be more than what I wanted to pay. I did my research online & compared prices & features. The road kept leading back to Folica & the BaByliss Thermal Hair Dryer. I am extremely pleased with it and it's portability. I can roll my hair & just roll it over to any chair in my house because it has an adjustable height! It dries my hair quickly so I can get on with my day. I am very happy I decided to buy this model from this company! On top of all of that, the shipping is free!!! I can hope that I get 32 years out of this model also!
