It's worth the money! So convenient and dries hair fast. Much better than many table top versions (and I have tried several) Not to sure what the ions do (differently from other dryers) but it's comfortable and it dries my hair. That's all I care about. I've wanted one of these for years, so I'm glad I found a good, affordable one. Looks a little like R2D2 when brought down to lowest size. That's what we call it! LOL

This dryer works very well and drys my curly hair completely in 20 minutes without messing up the curls. Much better than walking around with wet hair all day. My only objection is that it's VERY noisy - much noisier than salon hair dryers or a typical high quality blow dryer. But not noisy enough for me to send it back and have wet hair.

The product reviews I read about this dryer are what helped me make the decision to buy it. It works well, is quiet and convienent. I thought it was a little pricey at first, but it was well worth the price. My hair dries quickly and evenly. I recently had 2 people over and they merely turned it on and looked at it, and were asking if they could come over and use it. I wish I would have purchased it sooner.

My wife has thich Italian hair that requires superhuman feats of strength to manage. She spends a lot of money on Japanese Straightening proceedures and such, and when she washed her hair it took both of us using a blow dryer to dry it while brushing it with a wire parts brush...
Not anymore! This thing is great! I now have more TV time thanks to this Dryer..

Very good: My hair is about half-way down my back. It takes me 15 minutes to put it in rollers, and then 1hr under the dryer. Unlike the more portable soft cap products I've tried in the past, this one dries my hair evenly. I don't quite understand the purpose of the "ionic" function; however, the overall product is sturdy and works well. My only wish is that it would be smaller for easy storage.

Sistahs...I love this thing! I recently decided to go perm-free and grow out my natural hair. While in transition, handling the hair has to be delicate. With the Babyliss hooded dryer, I can do heated deep conditioning treatments that make my hair softer, stronger and grow like crazy. It's quick!---I did a wet set today that took 25 minutes to completely dry. I definitely get salon results with this invaluable tool. I absolutely love it! My only complaint is.....the darn thing needs it's own zip code to store!....Seriously, it does take up a bit of space so be prepared to clear out a closet to store it or roll it into your garage. Short of that...it's a priceless tool for me. :-)

I love this hair dryer. I have very curly long hair and learned lots of tips from a great hairdresser. One thing she uses in her salon is a helmet hairdryer. So I treated myself to one and am so happy I did. Yes, its a little pricey but well worth it!! My curls come out perfect everytime and NO FRIZZ. The downside is it does take up some room and you cant bring it with you when you travel, but other than that it does make a huge difference for us culy headed folk. I did receive it very quickly and it was easy to put together. Great product.

Babyliss' hair dryer definitely met my expectations. It's a little pricey compared to some other brands but I think it's worth the extra money. The dryer didn't work as quickly as I would have liked, but my hair did feel smooth and soft once it was dry. The air was evenly distributed throught the hard hat and was not too hot. I like the automatic shut off feature that is triggered when the cover is lifted. I bought this product recently so, only time will tell as to whether this product will last a number of years.

I love the dryer! I am Black American and my hair is thick. It usually takes about 45 minutes in the salon to dry my hair. At home with a previous dryer, it would take longer and it was not as comfortable. The BaByliss dryer is quick and my hair is softer when dried. I love it. The base is kind of wide so you have to have a decent space in a closet to store it. Other than that, I love it. I have yet to use the hottest setting. This thing gets HOT without damaging the hair. Great product!

This is a great dryer from my fine, curly hair. I live in a foggy city, so frizz is a constant battle. I used to dread drying my hair with a hand-held blow dryer because it would always take at least 15 minutes and come out dull and frizzy to boot. Now all I have to do is sit under the bubble for five minutes, drinking my coffee and doing the crossword puzzle, and my hair turns out great- smooth and shiny each time.

I absolutely love this dryer! So convenient. You do need to find room to store it, but this is great. Fast delivery. Would definitely order from this company again.

I have long curly/frizzy hair and I just love this dryer! I have always had to leave my hair wet and let it dry on it's own. If I tried to dry it in any way I would end up with a giant afro! I was always walking around with wet hair, it took all day to dry on it's own. Now I can sit under this dryer and dry my hair while putting on makeup and by the time I'm finished with my face, my hair is dry! What a time saver! AND NO FRIZZ! I love this dryer! It's fast! And I've gotten compliments on how lovely my curls are!

This dryer was easy to put together and use, howerver, I am African-Amrican and have very short hair. I expected that the Babyliss would reduce some of the drying time for my hair, but I was very dissapointed. It took nearly 50 minutes to dry my hair and the dryer never really got that hot. I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone with African-American hair types or thick hair for that matter.
This was exactly what I was looking for.

The quality of the dryer itself is excellent as was its performance, With the Ion setting my previously frizzy hair was quite smooth when dry. It was also dried my hair very quickly. All around this has exceeded my expectations!!!!!

This hair dryer works GREAT for my hair. I have dredlocks and needed a dryer that was powerful enough to dry all my hair. This dryer was affordable, easy to use and heats up really well.

Easy assembly. Dryer is extremely quiet. Easy to maneveur. Decreased drying time by 15 minutes. Long, thick hair. Dries fast on curlers.

I'm not sure it is worth it, but this is the first time I have used a hairdryer like this. The product came super quickly, was easy to assemble and doesn't seem to have any problems. It just seems a little awkward to sit under and because I have long hair (a little past the shoulders), it is obviously difficult to dry all my hair with it.
