when coloring don't bring color to ends. When using a heated styling tool, use some kind of thermal protection creme or spray. They call that a tool. Why? I haven't A clue! Use moisturizing shampoo & conditioner. Every so often Check out A Protein Pak. I believe that's all I've got to say about that! I really love my Babyliss! I now call my hubby my Baby Bliss!I am full of this knowledge due to the help of my new favorite site folica.com & Conair. It's all good! They are pretty much right on the money with their suggestions of the heat settings. Wait-there's more. before unplugging -turn it off. clean the plates.if you have a pouch mat use it. if you take care of it-it will take care of you! Well worth my hubby's money! Only kidding It's our money.
To Make Your Hair Straight in Half the Time

I have had my straightening iron for the past 2 years, and it still works like as if it was its first time being used. Plus, I use my iron EVERYDAY! It takes me less than 6 minutes to do my hair (that's when I take my precious time). I have no breakage or any form of split ends. All you need to know the wider the plates the faster you get it done. Here is my routine: I have the Babyliss Odyssey ceramic blow dryer, and I take my shower at night blow dry it (not even to style just to get it dry). then when a wake in the morning plug in the flat iron, oh to cut the straightening time extreemely in half put the iron on the highest setting Salon 230. You may see some steam, but don't worry this WILL NOT damage your hair. Like I said I straighten my hair EVERYDAY. When straightening your hair with the 2 1/2 inch plates, you only need to divide your hair into three sections one right above the ears, two right above the temples (your bangs) and the in the end let down your third layer and straighten there. You can style it anyway you like. Just an FYI your hair will be HOT but don't jump to conclusions and turn down the temperature!(this will only make the straightening time long and tiersome to your arms. This iron doesn't create static so you don't need any shine or other hair serums to make it shine. I never do and people always ask me what is your secret and I tell them Babyliss!
