Incredibly straight ... but maybe too much

I got the Babyliss pro ceramic straightener after my Solano saphire model fried. This straightener heats up exeptionally quick, and straightens my very thick, very curly hair. My hair was lacking the look of moisture with my old straightener, and the look didnt hold up for more than an hour. The babyliss model gave my hair a healthy look and stayed that way for the whole day! My only complaint, is that after using this on my hair, whenever I felt like wearing it naturally curly, it didn't cur'l like it normally would. I don't know what exactly it did to my hair to give that result, but i am upset that i can no longer have my curls.

Forever plagued with curly/wavy and frequently frizzy locks, this is the first straightening iron that I have had such awesome results with. The ceramic technology keeps hair super smooth and silky and the high heat makes it oh so straight. Perfect for taming a wild head, an A+ for sure! Recommended to everyone... but be careful because it becomes addicting once you find out the results.

The ceramic iron is the greatest thing and well worth the investment (I sed to pay $10 for a flat iron)! Keeps my very curly hair straight and doesn't frizz when it's humid! My hair is silky and keeps the moisture which used to leave when using the curling iron.
My experience with Folica was very positive although I wasn't offered free shipping! Very straightforward buying experience. And cheap compared to the price I paid for this at a salon.

When I first got this flat iron, it worked like a charm. After a few months though, it didn't heat up as much and took longer to straighten my hair. Eventually, after 6 months or so, the heating element stopped working all together.

I'm going to cosmetology schol someone there had one it worked so well I had to go out and buy one I was surprised how good my hair looked after using it, because you can control the temperature it can be used on all hair types even ethnic I recommend it to everyone

I really do not like this straightener. It pulls my hair and because there is no padding on the side you have to be careful when you get the iron close to the hairline or else you can get burned. It also didn't make it is shiny or nice feeling as other straighteners that I have used. I hate it.
This straightener amazed me!

I had been using a Babyliss metal hairstraightener that fried my hair completely, so I cut it off and wanted to grow it out healthy, so I stopped using heat on my hair. Then I heard of ceramic and how its nowhere near as damaging as metal. I was willing to get one and try it since my hair is ugly dried natural. This straightener worked really fast, I didn't have to go over the same section over and over. A bonus with this was it seemed as if there was a smoothing product in my hair since it held it together, which looks great and smooth. The only thing bad about it is that it smells like burning, but that smell doesn't stay in your hair. (Not a big deal) I loved how it was hot in less than a minute, compared to my other one that would take like 1/2 an hour.

i bought the iron about 3 weeks ago and it does wonders for my hair...i love how it keeps my hair straight even during humid weather..i am very pleased with this product.

I purchased this iron a couple of months ago. I usually do my sisters hair and the first time I put it through her hair her hair got stuck in it. It continued to do that unless you did smaller sections in at a time which is stupid because I could have purchased the 1 inch iron. It did leave hair silky straight. I was pleased with the ceramic on my hair. I would prefer to get an iron though with padding all around it....got burned frequently. I think you get a lot out of this iron. It will defently last a long time and works well of long hair and short hair. I would recommend this item to anyone who is tired of frizzy hair.

My hairstylist uses this flat iron, and I wanted to buy it to maintain my hair styles in between appointments.I have to say, Im satisfied at the Salon and at home. It's easy to use and the varible temperatures are a must have feature! One pass down your hair and the results are that instant.

I have had my hair straightened,ironed, you name it - anything to get it straight. I've spent a fortune. This iron is amazing. No damage to hair, fast heat up - it's the best thing that ever happened to my hair. My daughter is in cosmetology school and has recommended this product to everyone. Just be careful your hair doesn't get caught in the edge - it pulls. Other than that, I love it!!!

I purchased this item. The first time I used it I had a hard time turning it on. The second time I got it working but with much aggrivation - the third time it wouldn't work. It's too expensive for it to not work - I dont recommend it.

Well, I love this thing. I have unnecessarily curly hair, and I straighten my hair with my BaByliss Professional Hair Straightening Iron quite often. It makes my hair shiny, which is a miracle because by definition, my hair is not supposed to be shiny. Thank you, BaByliss. I love this iron. It seems very durable, too. I've gone through like 8 Hot Tools irons in the past five years or so, but I can tell this one is heavy duty. Way to go.

I love this hair straightner It worked very well, until one moroning I went to put it on and it did not work. I only had the hair straightner for one month and it was not cheep. I would say it was the best straightner I had ever used but It broke in a month so I rate it averege.

I was looking for something that really works and I found it!
The only critic I can do is, that it could be so nice to have a comb integrated so the hair stays inside without the help of your other hand.
I'll be waiting for this upgrade.....
