This product is just OK in my opinion. It straightened my hair but it didn't make me think 'WOW' everyone should have one of these
It snagged at my hair and the straight didn't last very long.
I have thick, fine, wavy to curly hair.
I bought the T3 Wet-to-Dry flat iron today...we'll see how well that works!

My hair got caught in between the gap of the ceramic and the blk part everytime I used it. I sent it back to Conair to see if they can fix it or replace it. It has now been a month with no one returning my calls! This was not a defect in this one only. I noticed that the others at the store/in the pic have the same gap in btwn the white part and the black border (insane!). My hair was torn out...

My hair is extremely thick and poofy. I have tried many different kinds of straighteners and none of them worked.. It was SUCH a waster of money. My bestfriends Mom had bought this straightener over 7 months ago and she told me to try it on my hair. I tried it and I was so suprised at how straight my hair got! And, it didn't even look dead and frizzy like it would when I would use a iron(yes, an iron for clothing) on it. This product works great for me, my friends, and my friends parents! I would definitely reccomend it to someone with hair thats hard to handle!

I have thick natural curly hair. I used this product the very first day I received it. I was amazed at how straight it got my hair and how shiny it was. The best park was my hair looked naturally straight. It wasn't frizzy at all. I highly recommend this product.

After about a month of use the coating chips off and the plates turn brown. I'm on my third one... the company kept replaceing them under the warranty, but now the warranty is up and it's just getting thrown in the trash. I thought maybe I just had gotten a couple from a bad batch, but they have all done the same thing. Horrible product and not cheap. Don't waste your money on this!!!

DONT buy this iron! Its good for about a month, after a month the plates WILL turn brown and when you turn it on, its gonna smell bad (like burnt toast to be exact :P). After 2 months the ceramic will start chipping and when you iron your hair you'll get bits and pieces of ceramic in your hair(eww!)! And plus it snags and pulls your hair and when you do finish ironing your hair, its straight, but dull and frizzie.

Hi...My hair is amazingly thick! Its never straight and its always frizzy and i could never do anything with it! But then my cuzin had one and she did my hair and i couldnt even believe how good it worked! If ur like me then u should buy it now! And if u dont like it...then Ill buy u another one! Lol! Its great!!! Best straightener ever!

This was my iron of choice before I ordered the Sedu. It's a little weighty but has nice size plates and high heat. It works wonderful on my hair and is one of my favorite irons. Large enough plates to get the job done quickly and my hair had a lot of shine.

i bought a new one and i decided i keep my old one... thats how crappy it is.. its pulls out hair like crazy and if you have lots of hair it takes a while for it to straighten plus leavse it looking dry

This is amazing, its the second iron I buy and I love this one. It goes through my hair once and it's smooth and shiny, just perfect. What I do is i blowdry my hair quickly after I showe, then the next day I use the flat iron, it lasts the whole day. I read a lot of reviews before I made my decision on what to buy and I suggest you buy this one if you have puffy frizzy tick hair!!

Hi- I purchased this straightener 3 years ago. I have frizzy course hair and was never able to get it as glossy, smooth and straight as the hairdresser- Well people its not because I wasn't using the right products- its because of the FLAT IRON. I am searching for a SEDU now because I hear it is like magic
If you don't have problems staightening your hair- sure this one could work for you
The Babyliss- makes my hair look dry and frizzed out and doesn't stay in humid weather.
Spend the cash- get the best

I must admit this is a great flat iron BUT after a month the plates will chip like crazy! Remember, the plates are only ceramic COATED not PURE ceramic. If you want a good flat iron I'd suggest one by HairArt. The Sedu is made by HairArt and so many people like it ;) And there's one thing to remember, even if you don't want one by HairArt, get a flat iron that has pure ceramic plates (BaByliss makes a pure ceramic plated iron its the one with the black plates). Other than that (if you do decide to buy this iron...) its great til' it chips!

I have thick shoulder length hair that gets frizzy and out of control in the hot huimid summers of New York City. This product has worked great for keeping my hair smooth and managable. I don't know how I managed so long without it.
