This flat iron is much less than what I expected. It did not do the job for me. I tried it many different ways and at many different times and my hair just did not get straight. I had to work my hair in small strands at a time and it still didn't do the job. I'm very disappointed in this product. Not worth the money I paid for. It just didn't deliver for me.

I was very hestitate to purchase this flat iron because of all the bad reviews I was reading about it but I'm glad I decided to give it a shot. I've been thru alot of flat irons and this one is by far the best one yet. I've been using it for over two months now and there is no damage to my hair and it comes out straightener then ever every time I use it.Thank You!

this product was great. my friend has one and she came to a visit. she let me use it, and less then 30min my hair was so nice and straight. though i have frizzy hair in the front, that didn't turn straight. but i only used it once, that too, in a rush. but it was great. by hair was so nice that i wasn't embaressed to put my hair down anymore. the thing is i don't have one, it was one of my friends. though, now when i'm gonna wash my hair, it will turn back to its original. but i would love to get this iron.
Definitely worth the money.

this is a really excellent flat iron. it is the only flat iron i've used that makes my hair shiny and smooth (and i normally have very frizzy hair). People ask me all the time if I just got my hair done. It heats up really fast too. However, mine turned brown after almost two years, so that is the only downside.

I love the wide plates as it makes straightening long, thick hair MUCH easier. It did not ruin my hair at all - just follow the instructions for your hair type!

I just received my flat iron (highly recommended by my sister & our stylist) and i can't stop using it! Hair is sexy straight & healthy to boost. I bought this flat iron and let me tell you, It will RUIN your hair! Worst flat iron ever. Slipt ends appear everywhere and dull lifeless hair appears. Even when used with the best heat protectants and glossers etc etc.. it still looks bad! Not worth buying!!!!!

It works really well. I bought it because my roommate has one, and I'm really glad that I did. Now I can straighten my hair in about half the time that I used to be able to.

I have owned numerous Hair Straighteners, all of which have died rather quickly. I have rather thick, coarse, wavy hair that is hard to manage. I am very happy with this, as it straightens and tames my hair as I want. Some people complain it burns their hair, but this just means they are using it incorrectly. The tempurature settings are great and the wide plates make the iron easy to use. I would highly recommend to anyone! Great price for great product!

Well, I have very awful hair it is very frizzy, dry , and just a poof. It wasnt always like this, i straightened my hair for about a year before i got this straightner. Before i had a conair,, my friends would literally get the iron out..so i did that a few times and my hair was completely wrecked after. I got this straightner.. it was abot 100$ b/c i live in canada. But it was worth the money it made my hair less frizzy and it didnt look as damaged as it usually used to. I get lots of complemets and people ask me what kind of straightner i use all the time. After straightnin my hair i use garner fructis sernem it smells good too =) i think its a good investment if your not looking for somethin too pricey.

I have thick wavy Indian hair, and this iron is greattt. For those of you with the complaints ... learn how to use it first. It goes up to 205 degrees celcius so obvisouly if you are holding it on your hair ... it will burn ... its common sense ...

I'm reading over some of these reviews and i can tell many of you that complain about this product do not know how to use it. With my straightener I have not had any ceramic chips come off. And I have seen it turn slightly brown but thats only because I forget to turn it off after I use it occasionally. The way to fix that, as soon as you notice brown or a weird burning smell take a damp cloth and clean it off! And for those of you that say it burns your hair...its not burning your hair you are! Any straightener or iron will burn your hair if you use it incorrectly. And you should be using some straightening product which you spray on before straihtening your hair. Overall I have found this to be a very good straightener and anytime I go out with my friends they beg me to bring it along because they love it so much.

I USED THIS BABYLISS STRAIGHTNER ON MY CURLY THICK HAIR AND IT BURNT IT! IT WAS NOT EVEN ON HIGH AND IT JUST BURNT OF MY HAIR! I AM REALLY DISSAPOINTED AND TOTALLY THINK YOU SHOULD REALLLYYY NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU WANT NO HAIR!

i got this straightner a year ago and it worked great..but after a few months i notcied my hair looked really damaged!! i started using my friends iron and my hair looked healthy..but my straightner made it looked damaged

People who say it chips after a month...obviously they don't treat it with care, or their's are defective. Because I've had mine for over a year, and its fine. The only reason why it has purple is because my friend and I colored our hair with marker, and it came off on it. And its brown, because my sister left it on 200 all day.
Keeps my hair straight all day, and night. Doesn't frizz. I have thin, curly hair and its not damaged.

This iron is excellent. I've used many irons in the past and this one by far surpasses them all. I have been flat ironing my hair for about 5 years and have had burned out many cheaper irons, this iron was well worth the money. I would recommend this iron to anyone!!!

This product is just OK in my opinion. It straightened my hair but it didn't make me think 'WOW' everyone should have one of these
It snagged at my hair and the straight didn't last very long.
I have thick, fine, wavy to curly hair.
I bought the T3 Wet-to-Dry flat iron today...we'll see how well that works!
