I got this flat iron when i was in cosmetology school in AZ, and that was in 2006, i have had this iron till this very day and it works great, never had or have any problems with it. It works on even wet hair altho its not good to do that cus any iron or styling hot product will fry ur hair, but this one is great i love it, but i should start looking to buy another just in case right. Its been 3 years and counting and i still have mine and its working like new!

This flat iron worked better than a Chi on my long, curly hair! I blew dry my hair first and it only took me about 15 minutes to straighten my whole head! Since the plates are so wide I used my Chi to straighten my bangs, but it gets the rest of your hair really straight and fast, and it stays like that for 2-3 days! DEFINITELY recommend it!

I have never worn my hair down at school, seriously.
I always pull it up in a ponytail cause it's so thick and poofy.
I bought this and at first hated it cause I never had pateince to straighten it.
But yuhhhh, it's pretty good?
Sometimes frizzes, but just brush over it and use products for de-frizz and dont forget heat protecters cause it hawttt.

I love this straightener. I never used it when my hair is really curly. I usually use it when my hair has been blown straight, and it is great.

Im one person that very hard to please, but this straight iron did the J O B!! I had one since my senior year and its AMAZING!! my hair is close to NOT manageable...but everyone loves my hair, and its cause this iron....Its true...THIS IS AN AWSOME HOT IRON....the only difference is i got mine here on island for $350.00. I guess the shop ripped me off...but its well worth every penny:)

I got over two years of almost daily use out of this straightener! My hair is naturally curly and this iron made it super straight and ultra-silky - it heats up very quickly and distributes the heat evenly without 'frying' the hair cuticle. Mine just stopped working last week, it just wouldn't heat up anymore... I've been mourning the loss of my trusted BaByliss friend, time for a new one!
This is the best flat iron!

I bought this iron a year ago and still works perfect! This was recommended my my sister's hairstylist. It works great on long hair. I have long, frizzy, thick hair and this flat iron tames my hair. I get a lot of compliments on my hair...very shinny and straight. I am looking for a 1" flat iron but Babyliss doesn't make 1" iron same as this.

I had this straightener for a year. It was the best straightener I've had. Except for the fact that it fried my hair. It broke about 2 weeks ago, when i accidentally stepped on it. But if I hadn't, it still would be working. I am going to stick with this brand, and get the same straightener!

I just bought this Babyliss straightener and it works great on my long, thick and coarse hair. I had tried a Solia but it left my hair frizzy and static. This iron makes my hair very soft and shiny with no frizz at all, which is unbelievable because my hair is naturally very frizzy. The other straightener that gave me similar results was CHI Turbo 2", but the BaByliss works just as well and costs so much less. Also, the wider plates make straightening process faster. This iron almost doesn't pull hair and glides through very easily. After using it my stubborn hair stays perfectly straight for hours and even the next day it is still pretty straight and frizz free. The only inconvenient part is working with the bangs but I'm growing mine out so it won't be a problem once it gets a little longer.
This iron doesn't have plates that move with your wrist but it doesn't make the performance any worse. It is heavier than the other irons I've used, but my hand doesn't get tired - maybe because the straightening process takes only about 15 minutes.

This is my second time buying this flat iron. It is absolutely amazing! I am Latina and have thick wavy hair. This flat iron leaves it so sikly and shiny. People actually ask me if my hair is naturally straight. I would definately recommend this product to anyone who has wavy or curly hair.
GREAT ESPECIALLY FOR THICK HAIR!

I have waited almost a year now to write a product review...
since most people wrote it died out after a few uses. I have been using this product for more than a year now and it works great! I am honestly happy with my purchase. I have long hair so the thicker the straightener the faster and easier the process!

I bought this straightener about a year ago and since then it worked out very well. After a year one day, randomly my straightener just didn't work, the plates wouldn't heat up and it was very annoying. But overall it was a good straightener : ]

This product works on my and my daughter's hair. We are African-American with long, thick and wavy hair. Our hair is smooth and shiny after using. It is also very durable and we have had ours for over a year!

I have the Babybliss in a one inch size and it is perfect! The plates heatup quickly and remain hot the whole time. I have reallllly thick hair and with other irons it can be difficult to the get a smooth look, but this iron leaves my hair looking like I spent hours at the salon!

I had the previous model of this flat iron. Silver with white ceramic plates. I bought it almost 5 years ago and until last week it died all of the sudden :( But before that it still worked amazing!
I must say this is a VERY durable flat iron. I may have dropped it like 3 times in those 5 years - and my mom left it ON one day for MANY hours (thank God my house didn't burn down) and the only thing it happend was that the blades turned somewhat brownish... but it still worked like new!!!
I love that it straightend my hair really fast and didn't damage it.
My cousin payed way more for a CHI and i tried it, and I prefer this one over a million times better - that's why i'm buying this one again

This hair straightner works good! I should have read the directions on the setting b/c now my hair is kind of brittle. I hardly get curls in my hair which is a plus. The only down side of this is, I am starting to get air bubble on the velvety material as it heats up. I've only had this straightner for 3 months.

this is worth every penny and it keeps your hair straight for hours and even thru humidity which i have to deal with every day of my life. the only down falll is that it's so hott it burn's your hair butt that's why theres a temperature adjuster. it's amazing and perfect, BUY IT.

I have had this iron for almost 3 years now and absolutely love it. I have the older model that has the white blades and those are the only thing im dissapointed it. They have turned brown over the years but thats to be expected. I have dropped this iron frequently onto my hard tile flooring while it was hot and it still works perfect. My friend has a CHI that I have used and I honestly prefer mine over hers. I will probably always stick this the babybliss irons. I also really like the thick plates, makes straightening a lot quicker!

I have this in silver, and this lasted me 4 years.
It heats up less than a minute and its quick to use.
My hair is wavy, thick, and really long. Like lonnggggg.
It usually takes about 15-20 minutes which is not bad.
And you can buy BIOSILK Silk Thearapy to lotion after you straight it. If you have dead or dry hair after straigthen, it'll make your feels soft and it look alive.
2 1/2 inch is great. Haha, so now I'm looking to buy the same one. :)

This Straightener is awesome i have really thin hair and it doesnt damage it it makes it smoothe and very shiny only thing is i got this same thing at the christmas tree shop for $50....
