Featuring 200 watts of power and up to 450 degree professional temperature, this porcelain ceramic iron is perfect to create a shiny, smooth finish.

The ceramic iron assists in making hair more manageable, by generating a negative ionic field. When hair becomes entirely charged by static electricity (positive electrical charges produced by dry friction and natural movement of the hair), it tends to spread out and become difficult to style. GREAT investment!

I got over two years of almost daily use out of this straightener! My hair is naturally curly and this iron made it super straight and ultra-silky - it heats up very quickly and distributes the heat evenly without 'frying' the hair cuticle. Mine just stopped working last week, it just wouldn't heat up anymore... I've been mourning the loss of my trusted BaByliss friend, time for a new one!

This is the best flat iron!

I bought this iron a year ago and still works perfect! This was recommended my my sister's hairstylist. It works great on long hair. I have long, frizzy, thick hair and this flat iron tames my hair. I get a lot of compliments on my hair...very shinny and straight. I am looking for a 1" flat iron but Babyliss doesn't make 1" iron same as this.

I got this flat iron when i was in cosmetology school in AZ, and that was in 2006, i have had this iron till this very day and it works great, never had or have any problems with it. It works on even wet hair altho its not good to do that cus any iron or styling hot product will fry ur hair, but this one is great i love it, but i should start looking to buy another just in case right. Its been 3 years and counting and i still have mine and its working like new!

I had this straightener for a year. It was the best straightener I've had. Except for the fact that it fried my hair. It broke about 2 weeks ago, when i accidentally stepped on it. But if I hadn't, it still would be working. I am going to stick with this brand, and get the same straightener!

Perfect for long thick hair

I just bought this Babyliss straightener and it works great on my long, thick and coarse hair. I had tried a Solia but it left my hair frizzy and static. This iron makes my hair very soft and shiny with no frizz at all, which is unbelievable because my hair is naturally very frizzy. The other straightener that gave me similar results was CHI Turbo 2", but the BaByliss works just as well and costs so much less. Also, the wider plates make straightening process faster. This iron almost doesn't pull hair and glides through very easily. After using it my stubborn hair stays perfectly straight for hours and even the next day it is still pretty straight and frizz free. The only inconvenient part is working with the bangs but I'm growing mine out so it won't be a problem once it gets a little longer. This iron doesn't have plates that move with your wrist but it doesn't make the performance any worse. It is heavier than the other irons I've used, but my hand doesn't get tired - maybe because the straightening process takes only about 15 minutes.
