i found that all these people are havee a bad experience with this iron, i find it veryy good, but so it doesnt get burnt you have to get a product to put in your hair before you iron it. i use this alberto product before i use my irom and it helps alot

I wrote a decent review about a year ago. Now my flat iron is falling apart at the hinges, the coating is coming off, it doesn't heat like it used to - in fact - one of the elements has completely burned out. All of this, of course, after the warrenty. Luckily, the company I bought it from is being nice and exchanging it. I would not recommend any Babyliss product as they all seem so shabby in construction. My sister has a Chi that she has been using for more than two years and it's still like new. That's the kind of quality I was looking for in Babyliss and absolutely did not get. It is very helpful in reviews if people write about what happened months after they bought it - of course almost all flat irons are great when you first get them - the problem is logevity. Perhaps through our reviews we can get Babyliss to stop producing such short lived junk!

i have has this certain straightener in replacement of another faulty baby bliss straightener and it worked just fine and all of a sudden, one morning i woke up doing my normal routine and straightened my hair as usual. i realized a couple minutes later that i had missed a part of my bangs... so i tried to straighten that part a bit more. well BAD IDEA. i always start at the root,and when i placed it on my hair it sounded as tho i had wet hair.. the next thing i knew it had SINGED ALL MY BANGS OFF. i am outraged at this because now i am completely self conscious of showing my face anywhere because i have stubby hair shorter than a centimeter for bangs. NO ONE SHOULD EVER BUY ONE OF THESE AGAIN!!!

I was reading other peoples reviews.. and I really think it depends on peoples hair. I love this straightner. My friend has the skinnier one but since my hair is thicker I wanted the thicker one. My other friend comes over all the time just to use my straightner. Everyone at school tells her that her hair looks shinnier when she uses it. So she will be buying one as soon as she gets her paycheck. But I definitly recommend it. I think you also have to know how to use a straightner too.

I buyed the babyliss staightner about a week ago...i paid 140.00 Canadian(wich is alot for the quality of the straightner)I was SO disapointed when i tried it..my hair smelled burned and my hair got cought inbetween the plates..i tried to bring it back too the store but the technicien/manager said that pealing off was normal(?????] and said there was no refund.My hair got immediatly curly in humidity..my other straightner(that i bought for 90.00)works way better..im very disapointed and DO NOT recomend it to ANYONE ..my CHI (that broke) did miracles compared too this junk
