Great for the price

I have coarse ethnic hair, so I didn't want to invest too much money in a product unless I was certain that it could handle my curls. After trying this one I was satisfied...it's not perfect...but for the price it does the trick.
Pros: My hair looked very shiny and healthy after using it (but whenever I use an oiled-based hair serum my hair ends up looking a little greasy); It does get pretty hot, but I still needed to use a flat iron afterwards; It's not too heavy, and it dries my hair fairly quickly; Cold/Warm/Hot and High/Low settings with cool blast.
Cons: Didn't seem much quieter than any other dryer; It's powerful so my long hair blows everywhere; No comb attachment.
For the way it leaves my hair looking and feeling, I definitely recommend this dryer (especially because the price is great). But traditional dryers that get hotter have straightened my hair better.

THE ONLY THING WRONG WITH THE DRYER IS THE SWITHCHES ARE RIGHT WHERE YOU GRIP TO HOLD! ALWAYS CHANGING THE SETTINGS! OTHER THAN THAN IT IS VERY GOOD.

I love the product, its great. It is not too loud and not heavy at all. Doesn't burn your hair, I highly recomended.

The reason I ordered this dryer was because I was intrigued by all the reviewers who said they have thick curly hair (like me) and there's no need for a flat iron after using this product! Turns out that yes, this BaByliss by itself *straightens* my hair by the sheer force of its blowout but if I want *flat* straight hair then I definitely neeed to touch up with my flat iron.
I do think Folica overpromised by including the line "In stock, available for shipping today" on the product page. When I ordered, this product was NOT in stock, and Folica's backorder e-mail to me did NOT include an expected ship date.
More than worth the $

I have very long, curly hair. I try to keep it curly most of the time, but there are times when I snap and blow it out for a few weeks, just to see how the other half lives. I had been using a crappy old Conair 1875 watt dryer from Target, and was less than pleased with my blowout results.
I did some research and ordered this dryer a few weeks ago. What a difference! This blow dryer has a truly powerful airflow. I plugged both dryers in and held them side by side--my old generic dryer seemed like a toy. I can't say the dryer saves me a ton of time, but I do see a definite improvement in the smoothness and shine of my hair. It's still not perfect--I have a long way to go before I approach the blowout perfection of my stylist. However, I'm a lot closer with this dryer. I didn't find it to be especially heavy or loud.
I also bought a 4-1/2" Phillips Monster Vent round brush, which my stylist uses. I'm a complete butterfingers with a round brush, but for some reason this ginormous thing is much easier for me to manage than my regular, small round brush. I think once I master the round brush thing, I'll have incredible results with this dryer.

This is a wonderful hair dryer and reasonable priced. My only complaint is that it is pretty heavy although I have a feeling that is common with the professional dryers.

I bought this dryer based on very good reviews I had read online. It has not disappointed me. It dries my hair very fast and does leave it much less frizzy than other products I have had. It is well worth the price I paid as I am very, very pleased with it. I plan on using Folica again to purchase quality beauty products.

I'm an African-American female with very long, coarse, kinky hair; this hair dryer worked well enough on my hair in the time I gave it to work--I just should've given it enough time (and hair-brushing) in order to get ALL the kinks from my hair...maybe my flat iron would've worked better (it's the $98 Solia, and it didn't work AT ALL)...

this hairdryer has changed my life. i went from a drying time of 20 mins or more to less than 5. i have heavy, irregularly wavy hair that i need to straighten every morning, and when i first used this hairdryer, it was so powerful that it blew my hair out practically perpendicularly to my head, and consequently did much of the straightening without my having to use a round brush to pull my hair taut. this will not be a good hair dryer for people with short or fine hair. this is best for people with lots of heavy hair. i also want to comment on how quiet this model is. my hairdresser also uses a babyliss, and i can barely hear myself think when she's drying my hair. this one i use in my tiny bathroom and i can still hear the tv and radio over it.

This is a great hairdryer except for one drawback...while using it the toggle buttons are in a place where they get shut off accidentally. The quality of the hairdryer is great and it dries my hair very quickly and is pretty quiet. The buttons are just kind of a hassle. I would get the Babylis Extreme instead because it has slide buttons instead of toggle buttons.
This dryer rocks!

I LOVE this dryer! It dries my hair in half the time of conventional dryers without making my hair like straw. My hair always feels smooth and moist and it is not LOUD like other dryers I've tried, this product is a must for my thick Afro textured hair!

This hairdryer is by far the best I've ever used. It dries my thick hair quickly and leaves it very shiny and smooth. I've gotten several compliments already. I love the heavy, 10ft cord because it doesn't get twisted up and is very sturdy. It is a very effecient hairdryer and I know you'll be pleased with it, too. Awesome product for a great price!

Compared to other dryers this one is pretty good. I like the placement of the settings and it dries pretty fast. Leaves hair nice and shiny- still have to use straightening iron for completelty straight hair. I have pretty long, wavy hair, especially in the back. The only downfall is that its a bit on the heavy side- but not a big deal at all. Cant beat this dryer for the price.
