this little miracle is just that!!!! it's great on those edges or bangs especially for us black women. whether we r stretching relaxers or totally natural it's great!!! it delivers the heat that we need. now i do feel that it should have a temp gauge and heat resistant finger grips. b/c that thing is hot. but other than that it's lovely!!!!

my husband and i go on weekend trips all the time, this is perfect because i hate to check my bag, i can fit it in my purse and touch up at work, too. stays very hot, though i doubt it could tackle my long, thick, wavy mane. great for the little stuff though!

This mini flat iron is awesome for straightening the edges of your hairline that are traditionally challenging with the average flat iron. I am African American with virgin hair so maintaining straight edges is a daily ordeal. This mini flat iron has taken the chore out of straightening my edges. I highly recommend it. It heats up quickly. Keep your fingers on the grey little finger pads that stay cool because if you don't you will quickly discover the iron is hot. Here is to healthy, manageable hair in 2009!
PS: I purchased by mini iron in TJ Max for $24.99...you might want to shop around locally and save the shipping fees.
