I Will Remain a Customer Of Babyliss

My Hair Dryer died on me after about 9years of hard work. It was a Gold"N"Hot,I paid I think like $30.00 for it then. I have very long thick hair as does my two little ones. I loved the old dryer but, just wasn't giving me the look my stylist gets. I went online on a Thursday night about 10pm by the time I finally read all the reviews and decided on this Babyliss. Today is Monday and I received my new Blow Dryer @ around 10am. I'm sooooo happy with it and don't think that it's heavy at all. I got the silky straight finish as my stylist. Out of the door it was well worth the $58.00 that I paid and received it in record time (didn't pay extra money for fast delivery). I was informed that I would have in up to 8 days. As you can see that wasn't even two days because, mail doesn't run on the weekends. You will be happy with this product as well.
Love It!!!

I Love the Babyliss Pro Ceramix Xtreme.. Drys my hair in about four minutes at most. And not too heavy at all, definately would buy again.
My Hair really has never looked this good.

I have super fine hair, so for me a dryer needs to help give me volume, shine and softness. This was my first professional hair dryer purchase, which was a factor in why I chose the best hair dryer that was the least expensive. I just couldn't justify spending $200 on the one my stylist recommended to me. While the dryer is on the heavy side, I don't think it's a weight I won't get used to. And with the way my hair looks now, I can't imagine EVER buying another non-professinal hair dryer. I'm really pleased with the results. My hair looks and feels just wonderful. My boyfriend even commented on how nice my hair looked the first time I ever used it. I really recommend this dryer for those of you who are hesitant about spending so much money on a hair dryer. But keep in mind I'm from the fine and straight hair camp. I can't speak for those of you with different hair thickness and texture.

I've only been able to use my dryer once. I fractured my wrist and I can't style my hair with a cast.
The one time I did use the dryer I was very pleased with
its performance.
Great for curly hair

I didn't appreciate what I had until I tried a Sedu dryer which cost much more. I have medium thick, curly hair, and this dryer with a large round brush and right products will straighten my hair. I tried the much more expensive Sedu dryer and my hair looked horrible! The dryer is heavy, but I think the 2000 watts does the trick!
Good dryer, great price

I owned the more expensive Babyliss Pro dryer (I paid $70) and it died after 8 months. I went with this dryer because of all the good reviews, I mean it is a good professional dryer for the price. It dries my thick curly hair quickly and very straight, however, like it's more expensive counter-part it died after 7 months. However, because of the $40 price tag I would still recommend this dryer since it can be easily replaced (Always keep the warranty on professional dryers!). Professional dryers still last longer than drugstore dryers (by about 5 months), so they're still worth the money.
Awesome dryer

I have never invested money into an expensive dryer before and took the plunge. Actually I thought the price was really low for a good dryer. I absolutely love it! I will never by a cheap dryer again!

I had such a hard time deciding which dryer to get before finally choosing this one. I was going to buy a dryer that cost quite a bit more and I am so glad that I didn't. This dryer is great!! It is pretty quiet. The buttons are placed well, at least I haven't had a problem with them. It has a cool shot button as well as a cool setting which I really enjoy having to help lock in my style or to cool off a bit after blow drying. This dryer is a bit heavier than I expected so if you are looking for a really light weight dryer this one probably isn't for you...although it isn't too heavy. I used to struggle with flyaways and they are no longer an issue with this dryer...thank you very much! It has also shortened my drying time which is fabulous!! Overall this is a great dryer for a great price. Stop wasting your time with the dryers that aren't professional grade you will be so glad that you did!!

My old hairdryer had about had it (drug store brand 'ionized') after 2 years so, since I was buying a new flat iron (Solia) I wanted to try something ceramic to see if it made a difference both time-wise (the less time it takes, the better!) and in hair health following use. I'm glad I did - when I tried it for the first time I was AMAZED at how much healthier, straighter, shinier...everything-er, my hair was...and it only took half the time compared to my last dryer (this one is only up 150W from my last dryer, but it makes a huge difference). The only thing I don't like is the weight of this unit - it is a bit heavier than my last one (which I thought was a little heavy anyways). However, since it doesn't take very long to dry my hair now (and I have ALOT) it isn't really a big deal, my arm only gets a little tired towards the end...and hey, my right arm is getting quite toned! ;)
The concentrator nozzle is great too, my old one used to fall off at the slightest tap but not the case with this one. Overall I definitely recommend. Works great followed up by the Solia flat iron - they're a good pair.

I asked my stylist about getting a new dryer and she recommended this brand... so I found this one and got it. I LOVE IT! No problems with it, works great every time, and my hair is soft and smooth. I don't get any flyaways either. This is a really great dryer!! I think someone mentioned the buttons being a problem with where they are located, but that hasn't been an issue for me... they don't move THAT easily so I haven't had any problems with my hand over the buttons.
Great for the value

I like this blowdryere alot, it is heavy to hold....a little workout in the morning. My husband drug out the old Conair, he thought is was too heavy. I like it because it dries well, and I need performance over weight. It does the job.
Love it

I used this dryer in the Spa I go to ... I wrote the name of the dryer down at the spa...came home and ordered it the same day. Its quite, its powerful and feels like a professional grade hair dryer. I would highly reccomend it.

I'm a barber, and this is the best hair dryer I've ever had
Heavy, but relatively quick

I am a little disappointed by how heavy the hairdryer is and I disagree with whoever said it is quiet. However, it does take a few minutes off my average drying time and I have medium-long, thick hair. My hair is naturally wavy and it doesn't eliminate frizz totally, but it is better than cheaper hairdryers I've had in the past. One thing I dislike is if you turn it to low (air flow), but still have it on a high heat setting, it cools down from the high air flow setting. I like this hairdryer for drying my hair quickly, but it's heavier than I'm used to.
This is a awesome blow dryer and half $$$

This dryer is sooooo great. It isn't heavy at all like some reviews say, I mean it's not a feather but what do you want from a hair dryer. It gets your hair dry really fast, and is much quieter than some of my previous dryers. And compared to other dryers it is wayyyyy cheaper. After I bought it I actually noticed that the salon I always go to uses the same one. I once forgot it when I came home from college for a week, and had to use my old Conair one and boy did I realize how much I missed my Babyliss (it dries hair so much faster, and actually weighs less). Hope this helps.
excellent professional quality

Ignore bad reviews about this product. If others claim to have frizzy hair after use, they either have a really bad perm or simply don't know how to style their hair. This dryer is of excellent quality. I spend 10 hours a day styling hair and recommend this hair dryer highly. It may be a little heavier than some but it's compactness of design makes it comfortable to hold and use. It WILL cut drying time in half and makes styling an efficient pleasure. The intelligent design of buttons prevents one from accidentally switching settings while using. Unless you like whimpy dryers that seem to whisper air at your hair, you should buy this one.
