Before, I had a great cut but never knew what it would look like each day. Obviously I wasn't good with the hairdryer and my hair tends to have opinions of its own. But this hair dryer is fast and easy and just naturally puts the hair into place. If it cut is good to start with, you're off and going in just a few minutes each day. Looking great. I'm very pleased. Michelle

I bought the BaByliss Carrera for myself and this model for my roommate. I've used both and for the $20 difference, I can't find any difference. I actually think the 2000 model dries my hair even quicker!
I've used cheap hairdryers for years and the BaByliss dryers are so much better. I don't need to use my straighter everyday and my hair looks healthier.

I love this dryer. No other dryer gets hot enough to style my hair, but this one does. Unfortunately, my first one only lasted 18 months. When it died, I immediately ordered another one just like it.

I have really thick hair and this hair dryer works great! I think it cut my dry time in half from my last hair dryer. I highly recommend this...while it's a little on the heavy side (you wouldn't want to lug it around if traveling) I kind of like that so my arms get toned while I do my hair!

I am thrilled with this hair dryer! Not only was it inexpensive, but it has literally cut the time in half that it takes me to straighten my hair! I have extremely curly hair and it used to take me 45 minutes to straighten it. Now, it only takes about 20!

This blow dryer is wonderful. I have curly, thick hair and it really helps me blow it out smoothly. I have had two of them now thanks to Southwest Airlines breaking the first one in my suitcase. I highly recommend this blowdryer. It is quite durable too despite the damage to my first one.

I have thick hair and have always wanted a blow dryer with some wind power behind it instead of just heat. This is that blow dryer. It is a little heavier than my old ones, but I'm not taking near as much time trying to dry my hair. I'm so glad I found this one!

I Love this Blow Dryer!! It is extremely FAST! It dries and straightens my hair better than other dryers! My hair is soft & shiny after use. I have thick curly hair & this dryer reduces drying time and time with flattening iron. I highly recommend this dryer, it is light weight and small but has tons of power!! The heat settings are great! The cool temp is almost like air conditioning & the hot temp is very hot and just right for straightening hair. BUY IT - You'll LOVE IT! I just purchased the BabyBliss 2 1/2" flat iron and can not wait to try it!

After 1.5 years of weekly use (about once every 5 days, for less than 40 minutes) the thing has given up on me. For the past few months I have been using it less because I set my hair in roll-ons first, then I touch up/style my hair with the dryer. It turns off by itself after a few minutes, sometimes refusing to stay on High, unless I switch the buttons back and forth quickly. The only reason why I still have it around is because I'm still searching for a good dryer for coarse, thick hair.

I got this blower as a back up to my Jilbere Tourmaline and i got this 1 n liked it so much better. The Jilbere died on me like a month after, and ive had this blower for mnths n its been great. (knock on wood)

Babyliss is simply EXCELENT!. I recomend. It is very powerful and I confess, when I saw the price I thought it wouldn't last one week and I'd be back online trying to find something else. NO. I did not need to buy another dryer, Babyliss was just perfect! Excellent price and just very powerful dryer. I have curly hair and hard to blow dry sometimes, but because Babyliss is 2000watts, my hair gets a perfect blow dry, doesn't get all frizzy, because it gets completely dry and IT SHINES! One thing that I could consider bad is the weight, it is a little heavy, but the efficiency is 100%. If you are in doubt because of the price, just go for it. It's a very good price and a very good product. I am very satisfied.

i received the blow dyer today and it was okay. there was too much blow and not that much heat. It takes a bit longer and it is heavy. In the end the results were exactly what was mentioned on the product!

In reading other reviews, I have concluded that 1: yes it is a little heavy; 2: It does not put out as much heat as other hairdryers I have used (but isn't less heat a good thing?); 3: As I have gotten more comfortable drying my hair with it there is less frizz; 4: due to the weight of the dryer, my hand might move up the handle and accidently land on the cold shot button. I am pleased with my purchase.

I really like this hairdryer; however, it is a little tough to hold for my little hands. It is also rather heavy. In any event, it is powerful and my hair drys beautifully with this dryer. I like the Babyliss Mille hairdryer better, but it's just too weak. I really love the power of this hairdryer so I stick with this one.
My hair has never blown dry straight with this little fuss

I got this hairdryer after wondering if I should pay $200 for another my hair dresser recommended. I'm glad I didn't go for the other, I would have felt so guilty spending that money on a hair dryer. The Babyliss is definitely heavy, but with just a little bit of work, my hair dries straight. I've got naturally curly hair that I've always fought with. Granted, it doesn't look like I"ve just walked out of a salon, but it's as good as I've ever done without hours and hours of work!

I have thick hair and it takes a long time to dry. This hairdryer works quickly and does not dry out my hair. It also helps keep my style straight and not frizzy . The dryer is a litle heavy but you get used to it quickly. Very good dryer for the money.

This blow dryer is great! It takes a lot less time to dry my hair with it then it did with my cheap $10 one from walmart. The only thing is if you leave it on the high heat setting, it gets very hot, and if your scalp is sensitive, warm works just fine!

I highly recommend this dryer to anyone whose hair becomes poofy, frizzy and dry even after deep conditioning. My hair has always been that way, but after just one use with the BaByliss Pro Ceramix Xtreme, I saw a dramatic change! My hair is soft, straight, and it's much more easy to style! And best of all, it stayed that way until I washed it again! I even tested it...sleeping on it all night, going outside in the heat and wind, brushing it several times...all the things that would make my hair a big static mess...but to my surprise, it never did!
Even my mother, who has fine hair, could tell that hers was softer and had no more fly aways. It also worked for my older brother, who has the same dry frizzy problem as me. We all also noticed how much less time it took than our old ionic dryer...even those with longer, thicker hair, drying time really is cut in half!
So I have to say thank you, BaByliss, for changing my look and making it better with your awesome product! I'm very glad I bought it!

I do hair for a living, and this dryer is excellent. It cuts down the amount of time it takes to style hair, seems very durable, and a great choice of settings. I would definetely buy this again!
